I also need help here, 3v3 specially.
Literally all the matches I've lost since the massive ieg buff were lost due to that piece of crap.
I've tried several options, from shocks to bombing them, can't figure a way to get them.
Since they stop your infantry early-mid game, it's hard to keep pushing, and impossible when they get 3 of them. Another option was tanks, but by that time they've got panzershrecks everywhere. I've tried splitting infantry in different groups, getting mortars, flanking with shocks and IL-2 (machinegun). I haven't tried the KV8 though.

tl;dr can't push early-mid game because of iegs, they are also the grimm reaper for ukf emplacements, tanks won't do it because of shrecks+low fuel because we can't push.

Hey everyone, since brits came out (don't think it's related though) I'm having matches that I can't fight back due to a massive ammount of grenadiers (3-6 squads) with LMGs early game, and then they come supported by an MG or Paks mid game. How do you fight these kind of enemies?

1. I've tried to outnumber them with conscripts with and without PPSh, with and without molotovs (now that they're not shit like they used to).
2. I've tried to wipe them with a quad, though it might kill 1 or 2 models but not the entire squad.
3. I've tried with pm81 mortars but they don't hit a thing.
4. I've tried flanking them with a T70 while fighting with cons+ppsh, but they manage to run away before a squad gets killed.
5. I've tried with the T34/76 and 85 but didn't manage to kill enough (1, 2 squads out of 5 for example).
6. I've tried with KV8s, they hit hard, but by the time they come, the enemy has tanks that can blow it up.
7. I've tried using airstrikes and artillery from doctrines but they run away before they get wiped.
8. I've tried several times with 1 katyusha but never managed to kill a squad.

I'm running out of ideas, so I came to ask you people, what would you do in this situation?

Hi van Voort, thanks for replying, I'm one of Nikolai's friends and can point out several things he feels unconfortable with:
1- If OKW+Ost are defending their vps with mortars, Paks/Raketenwerfers, hmgs, bunkers and some tanks, he won't come up with a plan, but make a blob of a unit and try to punch through their defenses (with the support of Katys, B4s, mortars, or whatever).
2- If he has lost several squads, he'll go for artillery.
3- Even though he plays nicely with tanks (KV-1s, specifically), he finds it difficult to take down enemy tanks, specially OKW Panzer4 and Panther5 due to their (insane?) reverse speed.

Lately I'm trying to help his squads rushing a M5 quad so he can reinforce his troops and suppress enemy hmgs or just wipe an pioneer squad, though there must be other ways for him to "support" his own troops (a sniper, for instance?).

I'm not a pro player, but there're some things I'd like to point out.
Early game, 4:00-5:00, you let them take your fuel and didn't finish capturing left vp.
Min 9:00, you lost your chance to kill their grens using the T70. You also had some cons doing nothing at base, and 170-190 munis that could've been invested into mines.
Midgame, min 20, you had a great comeback but then the Panzer IV crushed it (1 zig, no su76, no ptrs, no cons at bombs). I think in the heat of the battle you forgot to abuse out of your cons and their at bombs, and then ambush the Panzer IV and Panther V with your Zigs.
Min 32, Panther V got shot several times by SU85 and 2 Zig and survived with 1/5 reflecting shots like Superman, holy rng.
You had horrible luck during the match, Brummbair blowing several squads in one shot, couldn't finish off tanks (RNG af).

I honestly think you outplayed him. Then again, I'm not a pro player.

Well, this is my first post here. I was hoping to get some ideas and opinions about the KV-2 and how it works currently.
Using Soviet Industry I've called it several times, though I never get to enjoy it at its full extent. It always gets destroyed with 3 or 4 panzershreks, which I find rather senseless as it costs a fortune fuel and population-wise. Also, I can't find a real use for its ability: when I activate it, the KV-2 stops steering it's upper part and stops shooting, even though the description says it should shoot faster and farther.

So here comes the question, how and when do you use it? Should it be supported by T34s or TDs? Should I buy it or spend those resources on other units?
