Thread: Bulletins revamp28 May 2020, 15:24 PM Bulletins should add flavour to the game, like mini commanders: - WP rounds for mortars (costs x muni) - 2 memebrs throw nades for twice the cost That sort of spice, not "5% movement speed for SwS" but something that can really have an affect and add utility to existing units/abilities. Obviously, that would be a hell of a lot of work but, you know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. IIRC didnt they want to do something similar to that whek UKF was in beta? I swear I saw a teaser picture of the mortar pit with different barranges depending on what bulletins were chosen. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Inconsistency vehicle snares28 May 2020, 15:18 PM I see a lot of talk about how grens need the extra range because of '4 men, defensive etc' but what about when they go for 5 man doctrine? that nullifies that argument, so shouldnt then snares be in line with others? What about sappers, until they are bolstered, they are a 4 man defensive unit that has a less range snare and are fielded far less than grens are. I did however almost lose a cromwell to 3 gren squads alone, 2 fausts, snared, third hit, then the others recharged and hit me again to about 1/3 HP. It's expensive so it balances itself out but my god, the recharge time was something else. Not for nor against a change BTW, just throwing my 2 cents in. In: COH2 Balance

I can't really comment on this though as I have never really noticed it either way and I couldnt tell you if it works for me like pic 1 or not. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Brit base bug25 May 2020, 21:24 PM Its been a thing for a while now where units get stuck on each other until one moves before they stop retreating and allow you to reinforce/whatever, usually it will resolve itself after a couple of seconds, annoying but whatever. However I just had a game where 2 squads were stuck in retreat mode back at base yet none of them were moving, here is the video: Anvil upgrade + 5 man + double bren sappers (really crap at fighting by the way, dont do it) retreated at the same time after being hit by a flame nade, hold the line active, both on the same numbered group. Not sure if that is needed. EDIT: The game ended but I was going to send my churchill back to see if I could push them, force of habbit made me /l so I didnt get to test if that would have worked. UKF is where I experience it (funnily enough) the Stug 3 assault gun, if it hits near, it stun locks you, ost mortar can, ost flamer on engies can. These are the main culprits I know from the top of my head, but like I said above I tried to replicate it vs AI and I managed to replicate the units going prone but the "stun" was less harsh lasting only half a second if that and not the 2-3 that I experience in online play. Anyway, you can use attack ground to prevent any forced movement from your vehicles, this also allows you to move damaged vehicles through your own vehicles, in case of a traffic jam. Then I must have been wrong with tanks (I could swear it happened to me before, confirmation bias huh) and it only applies to light vehicles, it definatley happened to me when I was trying to repair a snared AEC on crossroads winter (I was north) at the right side entrance of my base, caused a huge amount of pathing issues. Thread: AT guns21 May 2020, 08:36 AM Why do vehciles take less priority than AT guns when it comes to moving to an area, as in, if a vehicle is sat by an entrance even though the AT gun can go around, it will instead path through the tank and forcing the tank move out of the way so the AT gun can get past... As you can imagine this can have a lot of negative conswquences, it feels like the more I play recently, the more BS i find within the core of the game. In: Lobby
Thread: Units being unresposive21 May 2020, 07:22 AM Just done some testing with cheatmod in SP and either I couldnt replicate the bug or it is only replicable in multiplayer games and if thats the case, its something to do with the network... I could only get slight delays as in less than half a second unlike the live games where it can be 2-3 seconds. In: COH2 Bugs
