Cavalry Company (designation given to a ranger company that had Armored Division including Pershings if I'm not mistaken).
Scorched Earth doesn't fit thematically, it was primarily a defensive or economic damage doctrine in the sense that all territory enemy occupied or advanced into would become useless in many senses.
This is about aggression, explosions, assaults, but the word assault's been used too much.
The name might as well focus on the huge munitions output of the German industrial machine at the end of the war, but the lack of manpower isn't reflected in this capacity.
Likewise, the Flammenhetzers and flamethrowers would be urban or close quarters features, but again the word 'urban' is used a lot.
There's just a lot going on in general with this commander.
How about we call it Flaming Urban Operations?
