General Information


Thread: An idea for the M207 Oct 2015, 23:54 PM Making it a transport would be simple, any modder could do it. The reason why is because you wouldn't see the transported squad; only the MG gunner is visible and everyone else is tucked away inside. If you can see the transported squad then you need to modify the .max file and do some work in the object editor, which are things a modder can't do right now, but not difficult for Relic. But it would stretch credibility to use it as a transport with how vehicle crews currently work. An actual M20 could hold about 4 people, including crew. USF Vehicle Crews are 4 people. You'll only hear the stereotypical one from someone who is just learning English or doesn't put any work into correcting their pronunciation. The typical modern German accent is a lot more subtle, and usually doesn't have any problem with pronouncing 'th' and 'w', and won't accidentally swap 's' to 'sh' on non-German words, since Germans are a lot more exposed to English and learn it at a young age. Thread: Some slot_items are disappearing after an entity dies1 Oct 2015, 19:20 PM In CoH1/2 you can't give a squad the same upgrade twice or more. It simply doesn't work, or doesn't work properly, as it won't give you the extra slot_items. The CoH2 Panzergrenadiers used to have two Panzerschreck upgrades, each one giving one slot_item, and the way they did that was to have two separate named upgrades rather than allowing you to buy the same one multiple times. So in your case you're better off having a 2nd (or 3rd, if it goes that high) upgrade that appears when the one before it is bought. In: Modding and Tools

But they didn't give it anywhere near the AI or AT performance, so why didn't they just make it an AEC Mk II? Anyway, they should just improve the AI performance, that's the reason the QF 75mm was invented after all, because it had a better HE round than the 6 Pounder it was created from. Another idea, if early anti-light vehicle AT is called for: Daimler I armoured car, instead of the AEC III. It'd be cheaper than the Puma, but it's 2 pounder is totally capable of penetrating every other light vehicle and light tank out there. Also would have a higher rate of fire, so not that bad against troops. Give it a Little John adapter as a munitions upgrade, and it can achieve the same penetration as the Puma but at the cost of losing it's AI capability (they never made an HE shell for the adapter).
