So we tried UKF vs. OKW 1v1 with the balance preview. Sadly, I did not save the the replay, so I can just tell from my memories. I played UKF, map was Crossing in the woods. I started with double MG play and managed to successfully dig in on my fuel. Then I built 2 more infantry sections and went on with other needed stuff (sappers, bolster squad, LMGs). The OKW had it easy from early on. The newly buffed Volksgrenadiers did not allow much capping outside of my MG range since I was always outnumbered. A Kübel ensured massive capping power which resulted in him owning the majority of territories and 1 secured vp. 2 ISGs followed which are pretty much death for UKF. I traded my 1st Cromwell for a P4 and had no fuel left, while the OKW could afford another P4 right away. My biggest problems were: - ISGs - being outcapped - Volksgrenadiers being dig in and negating any offensive attacks in combination with the ISGs So, I felt kind of hopeless as UKF. The OKW was floating manpower like crazy and had like 200-300 fuel at one point. What's your experience OKW vs. UKF 1v1 in the balance preview? L2P? In: COH2 Balance |

But how do you know what will need repairs? Commanders you bought from a store? I don't think so. That sounds reasonable. People who don't want to pay for commanders could play with the commanders of their choice but have to craft and maintain them. In: Lobby |

Not countered. Just scared away. Meanwhile it toasts all the support your tank has. The real problem is the synergy the Croc has combined with other units. You can pretty much kill all the soft stuff even while under AT fire, retreat and at the third engagement you still have the Croc while the Axis player has a tank and burning cadavers. And whacha gonna do if the Elefant comes for you... ? Seriously, the flamethrower range decrease has a huge impact on the croco performance and causes it to get dangerously close to the enemy. Panzerwerfer is currently the best arty piece in the game and it's blatantly overperforming by wiping team weapons even on max range without the possiblity to react. Every game I use it, I get 30+ kills - usually between 40-60 on every single piece. On the other hand, T4 for Ostheer is way too costly. Right now, Ostheer performs weak in teammatches against a mixed team with brits. Brit blobs with double LMG, supported by double Pak and a mortar emplacement/sniper break Ostheer. In order to deal with British team weapon spam, Ostheer needs a proper artillery unit which comes too late and at a too high price. In: COH2 Balance |
