Thread: How to counter Panlisers5 Oct 2016, 22:35 PM MGs, mortar, don't overextend. keep your MGs out of buildings and moving constantly. i'm not sure how useful a sniper would be with the 6 man squads. i typically don't use a sniper against SU. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: OKW early game dominance5 Oct 2016, 00:30 AM cloth is right, you can work around a single squad of sturmpios in the early game, especially with USF and SU infantry. if he goes multiple squads of sturmpios then he will bleed a ton of MP. engage them at range and make them try to advance on you... never assault a squad of sturms in cover. snipers also do good work against them. the OKW player will try to do the opposite... use his volks to hold defensive positions while flanking or assaulting with sturmpios. remember to only engage if you can win. Thread: 2V2 With a friend4 Oct 2016, 20:32 PM if your friend's favorite commander is advanced emplacements... find a new friend. but seriously, double brits has the potential to be an awesome or horrifyingly bad combination. one of you will certainly need to tech AEC early to deal with light vehicles, since you don't otherwise have a mobile counter. if you are able to dig in on a fuel or cover two VPs, you can slowly ratchet strap your way across the map. i strongly recommend having one of you (probably you, since the other guy loves cancer) go USF or SU so you can play aggressively in the early game. if you guys lose a few early engagements you'll find yourselves pinned in your base. Thread: What would think a COH in the modern age ?25 Sep 2016, 09:39 AM the problem with modern warfare would be the lethality... a tank hitting the battlefield would be a big fuckin deal. i think the best way around this would be to have different game modes... one that focuses on infantry and light vehicles and another that focuses on mechanized warfare... but yeah, the whole grenadier standing in the open to fire a panzerfaust while a tank shoots with no effect thing wouldn't be plausible at all in a modern environment.
