Thread: Design Improvement 1: Ostheer HQ Tier217 Jun 2016, 18:57 PM This is a proposal with implications far too complex for me to hope to chip in very helpfully, but... Wouldn't making the 251 require Battle Phase 2 be pretty a hefty nerf to its timing? BP2's a good bit more expensive than the T2 building and probably make the 251 arrive at the same time as the currently-justifiably later and tougher Soviet M5 HT. If this is not your intention, I would say to make the 251 require either T2 or BP2. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's not like the Soviet mortar is Ostheer's kryptonite and I don't see how the USF one is any different. If your sole answer to USF was "exploit USF general inability to deal with early MG42 wall without grenades" then its more about adapting than USF being OP with new mortar. Thread: Pseudo rng17 Jun 2016, 15:21 PM scratched is right though, pseudo RNG still is RNG, it just basically flattens the range for the examples to a form more palatable to human sensibilities (because we've all raged when a 50% chance to penetrate bounces 4 times and true RNG gives no shits like a honey badger). The intent behind it is basically like trying to make a 1/3 chance happen basically exactly as the term implies - in 3 instances, it's made to go for the 1/3 chance happen just once, instead of that probability actually only "evening" itself out to happening 11 times after the 33rd instance which can definitely happen in real RNG. Community has voiced their opinion that they feel the OKW needs a suppression platform to deal with enemy blobs but also to have additional options other than always blobbing more Volksgrenadiers. To address this we have raised the MG 34s accuracy to improve its damage output against targets at range and reduced its cooldown to improve damage output at engaging multiple targets. MG-34s are now standard in the OKW arsenal. Mid accuracy from 0.41 to 0.5 Far accuracy from 0.14 to 0.28 Cooldown from 2.5/3 to 1.75/2.5 Cost increased from 210MP to 230MP Available in the H.Q but requires a Battle Group H.Q or Mechanized H.Q. Thread: Which Unreleased 2016-17 games are you looking forward to?17 Jun 2016, 03:41 AM I'm another Rising Storm 2 acolyte. Hopeful for that RPG called Vampyr. Sounds like they're breaking down the "branching storyline" concept into a far more manageable and tangible format that gives me hope they might deliver - and if not, it at least sounds like basically all of the characters should at least be very in-depth to make what you make of morality in the game difficult. Divinity Original Sin 2's also coming out!...I have yet to get anywhere near beating the first one though. Kinda wonder how Gears of War 4 will be. Might be good, but I gotta say what I heard from it so far just sounds so entirely normal out of modern RPGs. The announcement of the game sounded like pretty much everything Bioware says about their games on announcement. With Obsidian known for the gameplay competency (though not QA competency ), I'm sure it'll be good, but I admit I don't find much reason to hope it'll be great thus far. In: Other Games
