Probably a bad comparison because FUCK THOSE OTHER THINGS! I'll admit if I've ever went against the glitch I've never noticed because I can't count pop so good In: COH2 Gameplay

M4A3, Easy8, Soviet Sherman, Dozer Sherman - hardly a difference... don't need a firefly imo. King Tiger/ Jagdtiger have same chasis, Tiger / Sturmtiger have only the same chasis. They don't look the same, neither they have the same role. They don't feel all that similar to me or at least they're very much like your examples, Dozer's useless against tanks and made for AI, Easy8 is a T-34-85 analogue, 76mm has the distinction of being a NASCAR car masquerading as a medium tank (it must be a secret Panther!). I'm certain a Firefly addition would have the distinctive role you seek, at the very least. KT's to a Tiger like an Easy8 to an M4A3, JT's the same to an Elefant (though that is a entirely different unit we are not discussing, of course). And the TA's definitely not particularly inspired in terms of role... The real unique one is the Sturmtiger, of course. And I'd opposite to you prefer a glut of Shermans to a glut of heavies...that is obviously a topic we'd have to agree to disagree on. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Conscripts scaling to late game...17 Mar 2015, 20:38 PM Why exactly no LMG for Scripts? 40 muni for a single DP-28 would make them (and thus base Soviets) be able to actually hold ground from other troops without a dramatic cover advantage (as in, heavy vs. open) and still make them distinct from Guards who get two and have Button (and are trash, but that's a problem with them that still needs to be fixed as well). They would still lose to LMG42 Grens. Plus yanno, I don't see Wehrmacht players going "I don't really want all these LMGs" so I doubt there would be too much of a problem with Guards (were they not trash) and Scripts. This can lead to some problems later on versus upgraded axis troops. I think it would be cool if there was an upgrade (similar to the Molotov, AT-nade upgrades... maybe 200mp, 50 fuel) that increased their squad size by two members. This upgrade could be tied to T3/T4 to not come too early. Russians revolving around MGs the same way as the Germans is unrealistic and copy-paste design. Yet a Script squad costs 100 to fully reinforce while a Gren squad costs 90... I'd be mostly uninterested in getting more models to pay to reinforce, because that's what they'd still do. They'd be more likely to survive tossing grenades like usual and more or less still lose to every other infantry. In: Lobby

And they got armor at vet3, at vet2 they got accuracy+small armor bonus that added up with vet3 was still inferior to what grens got. No, I'm pretty sure the text said they only got armour (which frankly could have totally lied) at the time they had the Inspire (pretty sure that was what it was called) ability. Cool units, don't care too much about history.Comet tank, Cromwell tank & all in a desert rat style. I know that's completely historically absurd, but coh2 is not about history. We have more Tiger tanks (King Tiger, Tiger Ace, Jagdtiger, Sturmtiger and of course basic Tiger) than we have Shermans (Easy-8, Bulldozer, Soviet 76mm, basic Sherman) right now. If you think the KT doesn't count, fair enough, but then there's still as many Tigers as there are Shermans. Unless you're counting the Jackson, Wolverine and Priest as Shermans because they're mounted on the Sherman's chassis/hull. In: COH2 Gameplay

That sounds ok imo. Well, Jaegers also cost 290 MP and 8 pop, but it's definitely justified with all the abilities they get and generally superior combat effectiveness. After all, CEs are 170 MP and 4 pop while Cons are 240 MP and 6 pop, ya know? In: COH2 Gameplay

EVERY Soviet infantry unit had that if I recall correctly. And they also only gained armour from veterancy, so German players had no good reason to attack veteran Soviet infantry over the other ones at all. In: COH2 Balance
