Bringing them onto the field vs vet2+ squads with weapon upgrades, like most elite infantry, they don't look too strong until they vet which can be a struggle at that point. Best situation to get them is when you went for a fast T2. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet 1v1 build/ vs Feuersturm31 May 2018, 00:37 AM 3 cons into T2 maxim simply isn't strong enough these days. You lose so much tempo when you tech and get maxims due to the engineer spending time off the battlefield, long build time for maxim and simply the maxim not being very good currently so the reward for this loss in tempo not really paying off unless you run extremely well suppressing squads as soon as the maxims come out. I didn't check the replay but I would say 5 ppsh cons would be the way to go. In: Red Army Strategies

Puma is hard because it doesn't fit into tech well but it is very frustrating how well it shuts down allied light vehicles that you have to tech to get. In: COH2 Balance
