The whole "Only good at point blank range" heavily encourages blobing and simply rushing up to an enemy unit instead of trying to use cover/tactics. ... w.. .what? How are you going to get to "point blank range" by blobbing? Your argument makes no sense. Long range weapons are significantly more efficient when blobbing, since positioning is meaningless. Short range weapon blobs get picked apart before they can close the distance, and require tactic to get up close. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Notes for 4/2/155 Feb 2015, 16:20 PM People are seriously crying about Pak being fixed? hahahahaha It still fires 1 stun shot. The only difference is before, when you clicked on a tank it targetted the ground under the tank. Now when you 'click the tank', it actually tracks the tank. The ONLY change is it no longer requires you to w+click the enemy vehicle, just press w. The ability is only active for a few seconds, just enough to make 1 shot. If you press w and don't shoot for any reason, you just wasted munitions. Plus, this is a vetted ability. Not like every Pak is doing this out of the gate. Here's an idea. Do some flanking for once. Thread: Custom commanders?5 Feb 2015, 16:03 PM It would be interesting if custom commanders abilities were auto-tuned by popularity of usage (not just inclusion). Your custom commander has a set # of points to spend on commanders abilities - say 20. The more popular a commander ability is, the more expensive it becomes to include. If Tiger Ace is really OP and everyone starts using it, it's cost will increase to the point where including it in your commander layout cripples the overall ability of the commander. At the same time, if people stop using something like allied mortar half-track, it becomes a bargain to add it to your custom commander. In: Lobby
