Thread: Wishing Good Luck to the Alpha Testers!5 May 2015, 09:51 AM I put the code into steam last thursday, and got COH2-Alpha listed in my games library.In the DLC section it lists Company of Heroes 2 -XP2 Alpha,is this last years alpha ? And If so, will something like XP3 or UKF Alpha be added later today to the dlc section to download ? Oh, and does anyone know the url for the alpha forums ? In: Lobby

Thread: Help with early game woes19 Apr 2015, 00:30 AM I enjoy playing as ostheer, but find that it is my worst faction.As I understand it, one should defend an area around 1 Vp, 1 Fuel point and prefably 1 munition point for the early part of the game and then spread out later.Attacking agressively with the allies comes much more naturally to me. I find this defensive playstyle loses me the initiative. I tried to play defensively around the south .It seems so diificult to defend with the vunerable cutoff and hedges around the VP providing cover for flanking and blocking LOS for MGs. Should have I got another MG to cover more flanking angles ? My Map control was terrible for most of the game.By late game I gained alot of territory, but the VPs and the lack of resources for a Tiger lost it for me. Thread: Ridiculous Tiger ace finisher19 Mar 2015, 22:11 PM This is my first replay I've uploaded. My opponent just spammed mgs, I went Tier 1 to counter with the flamer scout car and a sniper.For the mid game I went with a t70 then a t34, which he responded to with Pgrens/shrecks and eventually a pak. By the late game I virtually controlled the entire map.I really thought it was in the bag, but he bought out a tiger ace , and due to my rushed response to this I lost the my t34 85s along with the game as well. Should I have gone tier 2 instead and purchased some mortars to counter the mgs ? I know I could have put some mines down near the center VP.I would be very grateful for any feedback and tips. P.S. Is the tiger ace stilll priced in just manpower ? In: Replays
