Profile of Marmalade

I'm finding it really difficult to utilize snipers in builds. I always lose if I do. It seems so effective for other players, my micro must be very weak. The main problem was poor map control, I was unsure about pushing forward when my conscript screen was reinforcing back at base. I would be very grateful for any advice.

I was wondering how to utilise the soviet sniper in builds. I invariably choose the Support Weapon Kampaneya over the special rifle command. At one point in the build should one go for the sniper ? I've seen Luvnest commonly go for a sniper as his second unit out which seems rather inadvisable for everyone except the top players.

Just ran a DXDIAG. Intel HD Graphics 630 is the first thing detected as a display device. The 1060 is listed below it.

When I switched to big picture mode in the steam client it listed Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 as the display device, when I upped the resolution for big picture mode it warned me against it saying I only had 128MB VRAM !

How can I be sure that the game at least is using the 1060 rather than the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 ?

I have not played COH2 for a while, this game spooked me. During the start, I quickly assumed this would be walkover. However as time went on, I became increasingly frustated against this USF player's strategy and lost. What is the best counter for these unusual tactics ? REs, MG spam, AA HT spam + M10s. I am quite embarrassed losing against this type of play.
