BARs are indisputably better, but they are much harder to field in equal numbers and at the same pace. I have a very hard time understanding people who think vgrens are "fine". I don't think they're the most broken thing this game has ever had by any means, (their own previous selves were far worse) but they are not fine. Too cost effective. In: COH2 Balance

They get a free flak base that is regularly used to defend cutoffs or other important territory. And volks can build sandbags for themselves, they are hardly defenseless. You say they struggle with a blob but you get your MG no matter what, US might not even unlock the .50 cal... Sure both rifles and volks have pros and cons. But volks are clearly more cost effective. They are also cheaper to buy, reinforce, and upgrade, while being easier to Vet. Volks get RA bonus at vet 1, their vet is hardly much worse than riflemen if not just as good. Volks are far more cost effecient than riflemen, and clearly need to be nerfed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Zis3 in a bad state?22 Aug 2018, 05:25 AM ZiS is fine IMO. The terrain issues (road bumps) are the only thing I agree with you on, but that effects all anti-tank. Same price as the pak40 in a cheaper tier. The pak40 is definitely the better AT gun but the ZiS can be more useful as others have said. Veterancy is mandatory for most AT guns for them to useful late game. I'd say the US AT gun needs that more than any of the others. In: Red Army Strategies
