Thread: What's the best and most effective loiter/skill planes?22 Jun 2022, 20:00 PM P47s are by far the worst. Extremely unreliable Any of the loiters that have stuka AT are really strong (SCAS, Airborne Assault, Sector Assault) While it's technically not a skill plane ability, Soviet AT Overwatch is extremely strong too. Might not have planes but if anything thats a bonus In: COH2 Gameplay

Sure it could wipe from fow, but let's be honest it was a one shot very expensive shitcan. It's just that 95% of people here blob their way to victory and since ST was a natural antiblobbing tool they cope. The fact that you think it was only good against blobs shows you're completely unqualified to even make that statement. Having guaranteed wipes on individual vetted squads was super strong. Your opponent didn't need to blob for it to be effective with 45 range That's like saying demo charges were nerfed because they were too good against blobs. Or precision shot on soviet artillery. Being able to reliably delete single units in a game that is built on unit preservation doesn't make sense I'm glad that you at least stopped trying to pretend they never nerfed it the first place. Sight or combat ability Volley fire used to give REs some decent utility in early combat. I think it was definitely OP and maybe it's too hard to balance, but REs weren't as useless as now that's for sure In: COH2 Balance

It was it's old vet 1 ability, fired a single shot with perfect accuracy Basically, if you knew where a tank was repairing, that tank was now dead. Almost impossible to dodge unless you heard the b4 firing and were able to guess what the target was In: COH2 Gameplay

Riflemen aren't bad they're just by far the most micro-intensive mainline imo Rifle smoke once made them too easy to use, and they were designed with that in mind.
