Thread: Mysterious crash while playing a custom scripted map21 Dec 2015, 18:47 PM Asked a programmer to look into the bugsplats and he doesn't think it is related to custom maps. It is a known issue and will hopefully be looked at early in the new year. To quote him: "I don't think this is a custom map related crash. Try renaming your company of heroes 2 folder here: Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2 so it generates a new one. Sometimes a file or two in there become corrupt or out of date and will cause the game to crash on load. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Penal sachel still broken21 Dec 2015, 18:27 PM Jump back to quoted post21 Dec 2015, 18:10 PMSkabinsk Why was the satchel charge changed in this manner? This was the one good thing about penals was blowing up buildings to deny FALLS and JLI free rein on the map and deny MGs from certain buildings. Not sure on the reasoning behind the change, it could have been a balance change that Brad made. I just quickly tested several different grenades vs. buildings and all of them appear to deal nothing to the building. These are the units/grenades I looked at: Riflemen - Mk 2 Frag Grenade Paratrooper - Timed Explosive Charge Grenadier - Rifle Grenade Shot Panzergrenadier - Bundled Model 24 Grenades Penal Battalion - Throw Satchel Charge In: COH2 Bugs

Can you launch the game and try searching for an automatch game, then after it failed use the Exit to Windows button to close the game properly. Go to \Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\ and grab your warnings.log file for me please. I will get someone to look and see if there is any additional info in there that may help. Thread: Minks Pocket + sturmtiger15 Dec 2015, 18:31 PM Jump back to quoted post15 Dec 2015, 17:54 PMMr. Someguy I'm not sure what it is, but I think there's one of these under every map. Even a freshly-created map with zero props or actions has one. It sits at or very close to 0.00 on the terrain height editor (10.00 being the default ground level, 0-10 is about the height of a 3 story building). I've only seen it surface on Minks Pocket though, I assume because the map dips down further than most, while the center is also the most fought over. The artillery barrages aren't enough to uncover it since deformation isn't very strong, so I'd guess it 'rises' over time or action? But I'm just speculating, I haven't tried to see what exactly makes it appear. yeah I noticed that as well, that there is a blue box on every map, it is just weird that calling the SturmTiger in makes it appear (or makes a different one appear?) considering it doesn't alter the terrain.
