They are nerfing AS when that Concentrated Barrage isn't being touched. A truck can technically survive AS, but Concentrated Barrage is a 100% kill chance, and comes with a crocodile, and is 75 munitions cheaper.
ISGs, Mortars, etc. Not to mention that the Vickers seems to take an age to pack up (odd for a weapon on a tripod) so it is easy to pick them off with indirect fire or flank them.
I agree with Australian Magic that the Brits can struggle at early game but they have no real mid-game to speak of.
The UC is far too easily destroyed by fausts, HMG fire and any vehicle.
The AEC is a good strong unit against light vehicles but not very effective against infantry and is likely to be appearing just before medium armour.
So Relic are (of course) nerfing the Churchills and Centaur - but this needs to be done with something to make the British mid-game viable.
Isn't that more because they only have three tiers though instead of the usual 4?
Its just dumb. It lets you disable tanks (WP disables tanks) and it lets you hard counter AT guns. (WP and then the MG will quickly finish it off or the AT gun will have to constantly move thereby rendering it useless.)
i'm not going to talk about the comet rounds until they work reliably. i have only gotten them to work once so far out of a dozen attempts.
as far as the sherman goes, i think it's fine for a med tank, the problem is that USF generally needs units that can fight heavies or superior med tanks (Vs) and the sherman doesn't do that unless you have a blob of them, which is expensive.
Good, the WP round is more broken crap from the brits. It doesn't need to be fixed because it lets the comet hard counter every unit in the game.
Costs substantially more than puma, has less speed and acceleration, less infantry dps due to bad coaxial mg, less range, less pen, all the while being an optional upgrade which should be stronger than a basic unit. The only thing it is possibly good at is killing overextended flak HT and flamer 251, and an at gun does that better.
