If you have CoH 1 and you are not lazy - install it and listen to sounds of shots, specially artillery. That's how CoH 2 should sound like. Not those "plastic gun shots", which we have to hear now... I agree the Gewehr 43 in CoH2 sounds like plastic toys. In: COH2 Gameplay

I wouldn't say they did a lazy job on the G43's firing sound. Listen closely to the G43's firing sound around 9:10-9:15 range. Then listen closely to the firing sound of the actual weapon. Relic did a nice job in the sound department of the game. Especially with the G43s. CoH2 Gewehr 43 sounds nothing like the real thing ... In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Panzer IV ausf E15 May 2016, 19:44 PM Add a Panzer IV ausf E with similar stats of the commander Panzer IV ausf C but without the armor bonus. Also give it HEAT shells. Make it a main unit (not a doctrinal unit) costing 400 manpower and 100 fuel. But if you must make it doctrinal then make it a 4 point unlock. In: COH2 Gameplay

AI or AT? And besides the Light tank category for the soviets is covered by the T-70 so logically the T-26 can not fill a role that the soviets don't already have and is a waste of MP and fuel. The Panzer III has always been suggested. Reread what I wrote. Plenty of WWII games have similar tanks and it doesn't cause a problem. The T-26 would be available earlier than T-70 (also slower) and would create variation for starting strategies. New units have been added to the game when people thought no more should be added; those units didn't break the game. The gameplay as of now is not entirely satisfactorily and it's not due to new units but other unrelated stuff coughBritish turtle factioncough. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Lower Panzer IV C Command Points Requirement26 Apr 2016, 21:45 PM The command points needed to unlock the Panzer IV C is too damn high. Nobody uses them and I only use them for novelty. By the time they're available might as well use the saved up fuel on a panther. In: COH2 Balance
