Thread: Using the Panther4 Jan 2015, 04:36 AM I think that playing as the OKW, you need to use the panther in a more defensive way. The enemy has more tanks than you and you cannot risk losing it, especially with the fuel penalty you're suffering. Always back it up with some other units, at least one or two of infantry and maybe a racketen werfer or something like that. Try to avoid being flanked by enemy tanks. Your front armor is a hell to penetrate for most of American tanks so keep that in mind an use it to your advantage (except Jacksons, and their shells will even be deflected sometimes). Try to gather as much intel as possible on the whereabouts of your enemy. Information is power. Keep that in mind. I hope I have been able to help you. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: Rework OKW to be more "Authentic"4 Jan 2015, 04:31 AM I totally agree with that Mr. Someguy said. Anyway, I think that the point of the OKW is their gamestyle, not their accuracy. Relic doesn't seem to go crazy with historical accuracy and I can totally understand it. It's a game and it should be fun. I am more concerned about game/unit balance than historical accuracy, although I am a huge history lover. I any case, I really think they should add a Panzer IV to the OKW, and maybe make the Königstiger doctrinal? I wouldn't mind that, but the lack of a reliable medium tank makes the OKW a pretty strange and weird faction to play with. In: Lobby
Thread: What's in store for 2015?4 Jan 2015, 04:27 AM Hi everyone! Several days ago Relic posted an entry on their website blog and they somehow said that they are working on something big for this year but they didn't say what it is. My friends and I have been talking about this for a whilebut I would like to know your opinions about this. Relic has already released the new Ardennes Assault Campaign so I cannot see them working on another single player DLC. I haven't bought it since I am not really into singleplayer and all I care about is multiplayer and I know a lot of people who think the same as me. So what could be more interesting now? Some new factions is what we find more appealing. I think that Brits should be the next ones to come, but the problem is... what faction could you match them up with? They should release an army for each side, but what could they release for the Axis side? Personally, I would love to sea the Africa theater of war, but that would imply not mixing the armies that we currently know (Königstiger in 1941-1942 wouldn't be pretty accurate). In any case, what are your big hopes for COH2 to be released in 2015? I know, I know that there is some balance waiting to be made, but that's not what I want to talk about on this thread. In: Lobby
