Thread: [Winter Balance Update] General Discussion11 Jan 2021, 21:01 PM Cloaked armies of RW after an OKW player lost their medium and just slowly crawl into an ambush position at Vet 0 never needs to return, It rewarded failure. The vet 1 requirement has been in place long enough that if you don't know to activate it, that's really on the player. Although with recent changes to AT guns gaining prioritize on entering the battlefield perhaps the cloak ability could be default to on when unlocked. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] SOV Feedback14 Dec 2020, 05:16 AM I would point out that arguing that the Sov mortars barrage is "better" despite being able to re-locate due to the gaps between barrage shot is kind of odd. That and when you factor that the Wher mortar fires faster in auto and barrage mode and is more accurate in auto fire makes having a flare about all the Sov mortar has going for it (this being preferable to the precision shot of old). Been a solid wher strat since game launch to build a couple mortars and simply be in range of the opponent, no micro they just auto fire accurately. Least the barrage (as the flare) has to be requested by sov player to get results on any kind of "par". In: COH2 Balance

The unit needs no further buffs at this time, the shell speed is not hindering this unit at all. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: T-34 rework30 Nov 2020, 19:31 PM This unit has been moved around a lot over the games life, and there would be nothing wrong with moving it again or changing its stats. Removing ram altogether considering its total investment cost is on par with P4 if you've teched AT nades. There are still going to be people angry over the ram and bomb strats, and people still pointing out the units place almost requires them. I do think with the testing format of the preview its worth the look at increasing stats like pen. I thought the entire purpose of the preview mod was to test changes in a no pressure world, well why is it so hard to try that. I think many people would pay an increased fuel cost and MP cost for a viable non casemate, non commander soviet tank. Otherwise I see the meta soviet strats continuing particularly when it comes to countering axis late game armor. In: COH2 Balance
