Thread: CoH3 multiplayer alpha soon 1 Jul 2022, 07:21 AM I've gone thru the transition from CoH to CoH2. YIKES. So many left cause the game had failed to deliver and it took years to become what it is today. Playing both Alpha builds, CoH3 is already better than CoH2 was in its beta/release. This time the transition will be better I am sure. In: COH3 Central
Thread: how your sleep impacts CoH performance26 Jan 2022, 03:25 AM You also live longer if you sleep more. In: Lobby
Thread: Poll on new zoom out level in CoH3 alpha21 Dec 2021, 00:51 AM CoH1 zoom level did it right, change my mind. I feel Relic knew how unoptimized CoH2 was so they zoomed in as close as possible for performance and now we have a divided community. In: COH3 Central
Thread: Poll on new zoom out level in CoH3 alpha17 Dec 2021, 00:32 AM After playing CoH2 again I couldn't believe my eyes how zoomed in it actually is. It's actually more stressful for a player who doesn't use the tact map cause the amount of scrolling around is just bs. I now see it differently after trying CoH3 and I feel CoH has the best zoom out distance of the three. In: COH3 Central
Thread: Episode 1 of "Company of Heroes History"14 Dec 2021, 05:33 AM Please come back, I need more of these blast from the past casts. In: COH Central
Thread: CoH3 Feedback by Jibber and GiaA14 Dec 2021, 04:02 AM But for some reason it has never been an issue for vCoH, perhaps its not very consistent. I do use this the most when figuring out PE capping order as Ketten is obviously loud and sending my Jeep to do the harassing. For infantry It feels like it triggers the sound sometimes. Sometimes its the sound of running and sometimes its the chatter. But again, its something you have to scroll into and who has time for it later in the game. In: COH3 Central
Thread: CoH3 Feedback by Jibber and GiaA13 Dec 2021, 23:25 PM Alright, funny how I assumed it was a thing for CoH2 as well, I swear. Sorry for the misinformation I haven't played CoH2 for some time. In: COH3 Central
Thread: CoH3 Feedback by Jibber and GiaA12 Dec 2021, 11:18 AM Jump back to quoted post12 Dec 2021, 07:19 AMGiaA Is it really? Is it possible in CoH1 and/or CoH2 to determine infantry positions in the FoW? At least it's easier in CoH3. Recently played CoH and I heard infantry movement in the fog. In: COH3 Central
Thread: CoH3 Feedback by Jibber and GiaA12 Dec 2021, 04:42 AM What a great post, very throughout and well explained summary. A bit of an add on: "Audible Footsteps Footsteps in the fog of war give away infantry positions. Predicting infantry movement is a major part of CoH and hearing the footsteps prevents this layer of depth." You have this in both previous games, also units speech in fog of war is a thing. "Wires Wires seem to be very thin at the moment, and require too much precision to reliably deny cover." I would also like to add this, the ability to curve the wire and not just have it in a straight line. In: COH3 Central
Thread: CoH3 Feedback by Jibber and GiaA8 Dec 2021, 11:19 AM Jump back to quoted post8 Dec 2021, 04:22 AMRosbone I did not see any re cover in matches I saw. Is there red cover in Coh3? Yea, it was a red emblem with an X. In: COH3 Central
