Thread: inefficiency of panthers24 Nov 2015, 19:00 PM The rate of fire is what keeps the Panther down. The reload speed is crap-tastic. Not worth it versus anything but the heaviest tanks. And even then the StuG does a better job. Panzer IV has better dps + better anti infantry + a better price + arrives earlier. This is more useful in almost any scenario. And the other scenarios are solved by using StuGs. Go home Panther, nobody likes you! In: COH2 Balance

I barely build them because they are annoyingly weak versus infantry and lacking the average damage versus tanks alike. Better off with StuGs and Panzer IVs. The most ridiculous part is the one that versus 2/3 of the Allied tanks the Panzer IV offers higher dps than the Panther. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Balance Preview Patchnotes19 Nov 2015, 14:34 PM So OKW veterancy bonuses are going to be nerfed? Why keep it at 5 levels then and not make it 3? I´d prefer some better bonuses for a small resource penalty. Also the tech tree looks very much like the standard OST/ Soviet now. No fuel conversion rushes into Panthers. I liked the different design. Can´t comment on the actual balance though. Too much stuff changed. Yet I fear that OKW will just play out like the other factions and brings us closer to mirror matches. In: COH2 Balance

A vetted Panther is no contest. In case you were referring to me: The StuG gets -10% and -30% reload on vet2 and 3. Apply that to the already higher rof and you have an incredible damage output. Versus Brits and their Churchills/ Comets the StuG is way more attractive. In: COH2 Balance

From Kubel vet1, to infantry/armored detection. -Partisans has legal maphack ability -You can see Xp kickers through FoW -You can check noise (identifying vehicles) or things been breaking down on FoW -IR HT is bugged and will permaspot units on tactical map -You can know if a building is occupied or not -Certain constructions leaves rubble/shadows. Heck IIRC the radio from the major is plain visible. Not missing them. I was referring to actual vision. You can´t launch most offmap artillery strikes into the fog of war. But yes, those all apply to 105, 152, Sexton and Priest. In: Lobby
