Thread: Sturmtiger... why?6 Feb 2021, 13:31 PM As I wrote in a previous Sturmtiger thread: The unit needs a total overhaul. By sheer design it can not work. With no turret and short range (current state) it is useless as it can be easily dodged. The whole hull will turn to the target making it too predictable. With longer range than the usual vision range Allied players will cry. The best solution imo would be to make it some kind of B4. Give it good range and a good nerf to accuracy to prevent it from being OP. If needed make it immobile after the shot so it can be swarmed and there is counter play involved. If the B4 can oneshot stuff across the map I see no reason the same shouldn't be possilbe for the Sturm (with the aforementioned nerfs to mobility and accuracy). In: COH2 Gameplay

At a certain player level the only way to kill them is either a lucky RNG hit or a counter sniper. If you have a faction that does not have access to a counter sniper you are in for a rough game. Every decent sniper player will spam mines (especially ez as Soviets with 30 ammo mines and hardly any ammo requirements) to counter any light vehicle that dares coming close. Glad to see snipers being nerfed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Command Panzer 419 Dec 2020, 13:17 PM I don't like the suggestion of the aura not affecting teammates. That would take out a great teamplay effect of the Comm. Panzer IV. If you want to buff it, then buff the aura and lock those buffs behind vet bonuses instead of locking it out for teammates. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: [Winter Balance Update] General Discussion5 Dec 2020, 14:21 PM Panther is always going to be strange because of its design. High frontal armor, low rear armor. Less range than your usual tank destroyer. Blitz. So you are supposed to keep your frontal armor at the enemy or be punished. Yet you are also supposed to dive into the 60 range anti tank to deal damage. Best would be to lower the rate of fire and increase range and change the vet 1 ability. Unless those radical changes are done, the Panther will always feel strange. In: COH2 Balance

Panther is 185 fuel and claps almost every allied vehicle save for a few heavy tanks. Thank you for supporting my point that they should both be nerfed. My point was the T-34 is 90 fuel while the cheapest German tank is 120 fuel (Ost Panzer IV) while both being a medium generalist tank. Thus the Panzer IV should beat the T-34/76. Thus there is ne need for an AT performance increase for the T-34. The OKW Panzer IV comes at 140 fuel. Thus it is even more expensive. Thus there is even more reason for it to beat a T-34/76. Congratulations you played yourself. If vet 1 Panzer IVs defeat your tank hunters you are a clown. And where did I support your poitn for German tank nerfs? You are making stuff up.
