Christ even the AT gun can fire a HE barrage... IDK why i m even replaying to this bullshit. Mid-late is irrelevant. Allies have no early hard blobcounters. Not a single one. Mortars are usuualy not avaiable. Plus mortars can be attacked head on or flanked. Unlike mgs. Its funny how people saying to flank mgs. Mgs are anti flank units themselves. They were OK before last patch when you could fight them in green cover. But now its just insaninty. Literaly every noob can win with that new bullshit. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer HMG too strong now25 Jun 2015, 22:12 PM today after like 8 games my rank droped twofold. Main isuue that aliies dont have a blob counters. Its crazy OKw main stat is to blob with like 3-6 squads. And if opened with t1 (no mortar) nothing you do In: COH2 Balance

And widely used by them only. As allies you can blob only vs total total idiot. Cuz they always had lots of supression units and other antiblob things and shooting building. Mgs, ostwind, rifle nades any other units not alow you to blob. In: COH2 Balance

Fnank is not an option in many situations. What i think i will try on urban maps 4 cons 2 mortars opening 1. In case of enemy having 2 mgs I will have 2 more infantry squads and to cap points in the opening. (if 1 mg i will flank it) 2. after that it will be like 4 cons 2 mortars vs 4 greens 2 mgs. And try hard to get vet 1 to any mortar. 3. After mortar gets vet 1. I will pound him using flares (which he dont have as far as i know) probably forcing to attack. And he cannot attack with his mgs he will attacj with infantry outside of mg range and die. In: COH2 Balance

Consequently, HMGs overperform heavily on some maps. As a good player what do you think what can be done to counter hmgs early game. Realisticaly without trash talk about smoke grenades and flanking from 8 directions. May be you can get fast M5 somehow. No? Or realy veto 4 urban maps In: COH2 Balance

Now its just absurd. No any total noob with no micro can win early game with that. I wonder what game-makers are thinking about this new bullshit. They supress and damage units fast and even in green cover. Swap mgs maxim and dsk would be one decision. In: COH2 Balance
