It is a load of hooey and one day when I have the time to do it I will put together the whole argument against it. Well this "version of history" is pretty damn (garden ) widespread since in all video games based on WW2 the german gear and vehicles are superior, more or less. It's so widespread that makes you think it has sonmething true in it, actually. No? Further, I don't base my opinions related to these things on videogames though, I just highlight this fact for you. But I don't want to discuss on and on about this topic, let's talk in private if you want untill a mod shuts us up because we derail the tread . In: Lobby

Sure, it's verry good for showing that they care and stuff. But the quality of posting it's low, the quantity of bias here is strong and can carry you away. Hopefully they have an objective and hard-working test team, because just implementing what seems to be "experts" comments and analyzis can be deceiving and can create in fact bigger problems. There are some players here that know the game verry well and can make flawless analyzis but this may contain a powerfull underground bias => sounds perfect on the surface but if implemented would be a balance disaster. You can recognize such people by the fact that in more than 90% of their posts are arguing in one side's favor. I think that the most dangerous for balance are those who are constantly defending Allied, because they think that they have the "moral" advantage (if you like Axis side and defend the balance if they are exagerrating you probably are a hidden nazi). These people forget that it's just a game, and, in order to be enjoyable, it needs as much balance as it can get. Easy victories are frustrating both for the winner and the looser. In: Lobby

I was in a game last night, a verry tight one and my partner pointed me a squad of mine that have left in one model (I was careless). Obviously, I hit the "T" button, and wanted to write "oh shit" but of course I posted "oh flowers" or something like that. And the virtual nanny admonished me. I had a good laugh. In: COH2 Gameplay

They really aren't that weak either - at least against other infantry (and, to be honest, with the way inf behaves in cover now, they really aren't that much weaker vs AoE either). It's true I didn't test them in Beta yet, I only tested USF and OKW. This new green cover system may reduce a little of their handicap, maybe. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Urban Assault Doctrine23 Oct 2014, 07:44 AM Jump back to quoted post23 Oct 2014, 07:19 AMspam.r33k its a reaaaaaallly old doctrine. it was in the beta way before WFA was announced and it is awesome!! the pgrens, the field hq that repairs vehicles! 2 points to retreat to (all units get an alternate retreat ability) and the bombing strike, which comes with a huge delay, but its like a dozen planes bombing a large area with tons of explosives. its easyly dodgeable and only useful to deny huge areas of the map or to get rid of dug-in enemies, but, boy, does it look awesome Doesn't sound a little ....
