Don't forget we are talking about '44 - '45 german infantry. The panzerbusche was dead and burried at that time. Let's make the volks squad to have 4 members. Plain and simple. Ok, they have great AT, great vet, BUT they won't be that durable. What do you people think? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Fury Movie! Tiger vs Sherman3 Dec 2014, 14:15 PM Compared to what we can see in other movies, the Tiger scene was quite realistic. Several shermanns for one Tiger, and last Shermann destroyed it with alot of luck. P.S.: I am amused everytime I see comments that shows how upset are some people who simply cannot admit that USA hadn't the best equipment from WW 2, on the contrary, it was quite obsolete related to german equipment. Unless you mean repairing, in which case, CoH1 Panzergrenadiers. Mining.... building.... + Coh1 panzergrenadiers where the only one infantry unit buildable in T0.... In OKW's case you have 2 infantry units in T0. You propose one to cover all roles while the other will cover nothing. They don't even have a faust. Are volks to durable? They scall to good in veteancy? Ok, make the unit have 4 members. Like I said, there are many solutions, but making one unit to carry all roles seems the worst to me. Thread: OKW, the root of most balance issues?3 Dec 2014, 08:37 AM That's rather a complicated issue. I'm pretty sure that if OKW receives some nerfs, the soviets will steamroll everything. So I'd rather fix USF, make some changes or give them something to keep pace in late game. This would probably balance things. I don't think that in team games if Allied team plays soviets only they have such huge resistance problems no matter if they fight against Ostheer or OKW. So I believe the answer to this question is provided by team games: Fix USF first and check balance again after fixing. In: COH2 Balance

Kids love fairy tells or SF games and want to be the best in everything, they generally don't bare to lose. So they play 2-3 games against better opponents, get beaten and quit the game or look for cheats. In: Scrap Yard

Getting outnumbered because all you built was sturmpio. Thing is it's not normal for a single unit type to carry all roles. I'm sure there are other ways to handle this "spam" problem. Spam... don't they all do it? Grenadier spam, conscripts spam, maxim spam, rifles spam.... Strange everybody is upset because of spam but everybody does it. Nobody complained about spam in vCoh while paras spam, rangers spam, tommies spam and grenadiers spam were much worst than we see today in coh2. At least in coh2 when you build a tank, the blob thinks twice if it should take it down or avoid it. From this point of view, squad wiping tanks existence is justified. In: COH2 Balance

Just some idiots shooting around? This is your proposed picture: 1. Want decent AI early game? Build sturmpio. 2. Want decent AT early game? Build sturmpio. 3. ...WHAT? Again, it's not about the shrecks necessarely, it's about USF vehicles. They are to thin. Or, if you wanna do something about shrecks, I saw some good ideas around here. Like veterancy shouldn't affect accuracy for shrecks. There are other ways. Like allowing a double shreck upgrade for volks for 180 or 190 amo, not a single one for 90. The shreck will come later and the amo investment would be much, much higher. But letting sturmpio carry all the roles, that would create a silly image in game and not only this. OKW early game would be seriously affected and personaly I don't think it's a good idea. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW gets to much manpower?28 Nov 2014, 14:40 PM It's normal. You have less amo and even lesser fuel. So what are you gonna do? Let that mp stockpiling in order to build 2 vehicles per game or use it? Combine that with the fact that OKW squads are pretty durable in general so they are not so hard to preserve, add to this that the core infantry (volks) is quite cheap to build and reinforce and there you are: your blob army is ready. It's also one of the best ways to survive and be efficient as OKW. In: COH2 Gameplay
