The oly problem will be that if upgraded, they will be more usefull than assault grenadiers. C'mon, ASSAULT grenadiers. Volks better. Something doesn't sound right, does it? Even so, if volks will have to spend amo for each panzerfaust hit, plus the available upgrade.... => 100% amo income for OKW and raketenverfer buff or else no chance in early/mid game for this faction. And they are correct, because balancing a 4v4 mode without ruining every single other mode is the most complicated thing. Any balance work starts from 1v1 and that's a rule. You are aware of the fact that you can't make Soviet non-doctrinal hardware as "awsome" as Axis aren't you? Because then you will have to change all those excellent soviet doctrines and transform them into "no go" doctrines. Like, mmm .... german infantry doctrine.... storm doctrine.... and so on.... further, you will have to accept completely useless "doctrinal abilities" like "ambush camo"....
