I dunno about that P-47. When I use it, it underperforms. When used against me, it's deadly . Strange feeling. Note that I didn't say "destroyed engine" I said "damaged engine", so the german tank can still move even if it moves much slower. For an unsuported heavy german tank, that could be the end. Otherwise, I really, really doubt. If this shot would be expensive as amo cost, how manny time do you think you will be able to use the P-47 - this shot combo? Most probably (IF you use paratrooper doctrine) once per game, because, USF needs bars, zooks, fighting positions, mines, maybe some arty strikes from major, grenades throwing and so on. All these cost amo, and without them, what are the chances against Axis infantry (especially OKW)? In: COH2 Gameplay

It doesn't impact Ostheer T3 since Jackson already pen Pz4 variante: Precision shot on vehicule having less than 30% life: automatically increase Jackson pen by XX. No cost, no CD. Same idea as jaeger light infantry or reco infantry. -2) A smoke, simply a free jail card, same as the Puma has. Variante: A smoke shell you shoot at an enemy tank so he cannot see you, with a acceleration and speed debuff for XX seconds. NB: I'm not saying Jackson need both, but one of those option would be something increasing or his survivability or his reliability in certain situations. Your post gave me an idea. Remember Panzer Elite ATHT from vCoh? That sdkfz with a small AT gun mounted on top? It has an ability to shoot the engine or to target the tracks. Give to jackson such an ability for xx amo. One shot that will allways penetrate/hit and damage the engine. That way "smoke and get away" will not be so efficient for german tanks, they will move much slower. Meanwhile the hit will not damage anything but the engine. In: COH2 Gameplay

Why spending a ton of fuel and mp just to bring a tank dedicated for killing tanks and having verry little efficiency on everything else when I can stop at T2, wait for a good all around Tiger then bring as manny as I can? Thread: Company of Blobs, if you only solo, dont read12 Jan 2015, 10:35 AM One time in COH2 history (march or may 2014) they introduced real bonuses for green cover. Then every single soviet spammer cried like a baby because their beloved shock troops were droping like flies due to correct german units positioning in cover + bonuses. Same thing was happening to pzgrenadiers or AGs if they were attacking through open ground but everybody whined about soviets. The game was not well balanced but received a verry interesting and tactical approach. As a whining result, instead keeping that direction and modify units to balance their performances, Relic made again drastic meta changes, and cover bonuses were not so visible anymore and the tactical feeling was severely diminished again. Now, eerybody cries because of blobbing and because game doesn't reward tactics. I don't understand this community anymore . In: COH2 Gameplay

Schrecked pzgrens can be countered with infantry, mgs, etc. The only moment when schreck becomes problematic is in the hands of volks IF THEY BLOB. So the actual problem is not the weapon itself but the carrier. The carrier is to durable, it vets quick and from vet 4 becomes a monster. Like I said before: reduce volks squad to 4 in order to make them less durable or do something about thheir vet scale, or both, but if both changes are applied, their health must be increased a bit or they should get a received accuracy bonus. I guarantee that the blob presence on the batlefield will be reduced due to the periodic runs to the base and walks back. 4 people are harder to preserve, right? So if 2 or 3 gets killed by a shot you will withdrow the squad instantly or expose yourself to a great risk. This solution would be so much simpler than applying changes to a weapon and have no ideas how this change will influence the meta. Just imagine a nerfed schreck for ostheer together with the present (nerfed PAK 40). The ostheer player will stick to this combo a while to stop allied medium armor because he doesn't have other alternatives. Pz IV for instance is far away. Imagine what a nerfed schreck would mean for OKW. YES! PAYBACK TIME you will think. Exactly, but bye bye balance. What can they use? Raketenwerfer...no? Puma would mean to kill the diversity of OKW start. OKW will start then ONLY with T3 because this way it will have the best chance to get an AT in time. In: COH2 Gameplay
