I dont see wipes when squads arent cluttered while casting. Therefore, I can conclude that it is a problem and it contributes to wiping potential, whether you like it or not or whether you think it makes "no sense". Its not only the AOE, its both, and that doesnt only count for the Isu. When your units clutter because they pass a narrow street and they hit a mine the squad gets wiped. Does that mean the AOE is too big? No, the clutter and AOE was responsible for the wipe. ISU has of course more AOE and will only wipe if the units clutter, and yes German units tend to clutter, specially when upgraded with LMG, laying on the ground. AOE and cluttering will always go hand in hand. But hey, thats my opinion. OK you dont get any squad wipes but how many of us get it pretty often? So dont coment on it pls. In: COH2 Balance

I dont have beasty CPU (i5 4690S) which is not high end and game runs fine becasue I have Gainward 780 GTX Phantom GLH. I saved money and didnt get i7 but spent extra 100 bucks on better GPU and thats my point. In: Lobby
Thread: A good starting computer setup to play Coh24 Sep 2014, 17:35 PM If you wanna play games with good FPS dont spend too much on CPU, RAM, or MB. You should build your rig around good graphics card. You dont need i7 to run games fine. i5 or even i3 will do fine for most. You dont have to pay for 1833MHz RAM. There will be "zero" difference in game if you buy 1600Mhz (I personally prefer better timnings on RAM especially with Intel Haswell). Pick best GPU you can afford and put other stuff together if you cannot afford high end. In: Lobby

I have similar specs and I can run game fine on max settings except AA which is off. Do you have it on? Since AA in CoH 2 is FPS killer like hell. Unless you have display with refresh rate bigger then 60Hz you cannot notice difference in 60+ FPS since your dispaly will only show you 60. Maybe you ment that if you have better FPS in big battles there will be not that bad FPS spikes. In: Lobby

I am lucky enough that on my PC it runs well even on maxed settings but many friends from steam have problems and I really dont think game looks that nice it should have such HW requirements. Some examples with far worse optimisation include Metro 2033 (Which was released, like, 5 years before COH 2 and I can barely run that game on medium whilst I can run COH 2 on high without antiliasing before lag sets in) and Skyrim (Which was released 2 years prior to Skyrim although I can only run it at the lowest settings before lag sets in). So because other games maybe be also poorly optimized we as customers should be OK with that??? HELL NO. This is not free to play game in which I can understand it since its free to play - I didnt pay a single penny for it. COH2 is payed product and I as costumer expect finished product not beta version. There are some bugs which are still in game since beta like bad pathfiding. They improve it but it is still bad. Also that input lag, units not following orders imidiately etc... Bugs like that should be fixed in beta. We are one year after release and most of that stuff is still not fixed which is bad sign for us. Coh2 has great potential in it but Relic should stop milking it and finally fix those damn bugs. Maybe Sega is pushing them hard to milk every single penny from it who knows. In: Lobby
