Thread: USF lategame anti infantry team4 Dec 2021, 20:02 PM Hi guys I need help with my build for USF late game (3v3,4v4). Commanders with rangers. When it comes to the late game I usually have: AT team - 2x rangers with bazookas. Support weapons, tanks and all the other shit ... Anti Inf team - captain with upgrade + bar , usually vet rifleman from early game with 2x bars But when I lose ALL my rifleman, what unit I should replace them with ? I like my captain, it gets fast + it has useful smoke, but I don't know if I should put another rangers to him and if so, should I upgrade them thomsons or 2x bars to be more align with the captain. Or I should just throw away captain and have 2x thompson rangers? Thanks for the tips In: COH2 Gameplay

The issue is that we don't have all the games which are played so we can't have finite answers. The site just provides the stats and info how they are obtain and it's up to you to interpret the data. If we focus on win-rate someone could argue that top 200 analysis doesn't have enough game (~12k games). But it you compare the top200 win-rate to all games (~60k games) the trends are still similar (one faction winning more than other) just the % is little bit different. And I would consider 60k games enough to give some results. It would give a good indication how much of the community is actually participating in ranked matches. Is this doable somehow, at least with some random selection of players to estimate? I know that you don't have complete data on every game that is being played, but might there be a way to do it? Yes it could be doable. However because I previously didn't have any analysis use-case for AI games / custom games I don't save those matches in DB. So I can't do any analysis right now. I could only change that for future. But I just realized additional issue with this. I assume that those players who play extensively AI/Custom games are not ranked enough. I am currently only getting games from players who are ranked 0-600 on regular leaderboards. There used to be leaderboards for AI games but they are empty. Therefore I think we can't get number which would be representative of the COH2 platform. I did DB cleanup some time ago where I deleted those custom / AI games from the matches of the high ranked players and it was less than 5% of all games. (but again only for top ~400 ranked players). FYI I do have interesting number though, which I haven't added to the site yet, I have this for every day. And that's amount of unique top 200 players across all factions. If someone is top 200 as Brit he could be also top 200 as Soviet. 469 unique top 1-1 players. 5(factions) x 200 (positions) => 1000(players). Which means that ~50%* of top 200 players are in top 200 with more than 1 faction. In: Lobby

The right top info "card" has also changed - previously it was calculated from all the games. Now it's calculated only from ranked games. Almost 20% games ends in the first 5 minutes? Btw you can also see the difference between 1v1,2v2,3v3 and 4v4, in 4v4 10% of games ends in the first 5 minutes - probably because of leavers/drops? In other game modes it's about 5% Another small improvement is that I created a dashboard which monitors and logs the status of Relic API https://stats.uptimerobot.com/03lN1ckr5j I noticed that from time to time some parts of the page doesn't work and when I investigated the problems, it seemed that Relic API is is not responding so I wanted to track their availability. Thread: New Leaderboard and playercard28 Oct 2021, 22:23 PM Hey guys, just FYI few little tweaks and improvements has been released. (There are regular little updates every month) For example summary rows in tables on player profiles https://coh2stats.com/players/76561198018614046 But in regards to the leaderboards, there has been change in historic leaderboards. The storage of historic leaderboards has been changed to last 3 months only. Older leaderboards than 3 months are gonna have only 1 snapshot per week stored (hopefully forever). The project costs were increasing every month and the DB was getting huge. With this change, the project should be able to exists hopefully for a long time with "fixed" costs. From 25th of October we also increase the amount of ingested matches based on ranks. Now we analyze games from players in top 600 positions in every leaderboard. This is about ~30% increase in the analyzed matches. Also we will hit milestone 1M analyzed matches at the end of this week. In: Lobby

I feel like if I queue at 18.00h (gmt+2) the MM is all over the place with ranks from 1 to 9999. If I queue at 20.00h the MM is even worse. If I queue at 16.00h even more worse. Only during the weekend can you queue at any time and get a decent match (# of players during the weekends is usually 9k+) Do you "restart" matchmaking search? This is my assumption - I don't have any hard evidence. But I would assume that it works in a way that the longer your search the "wider" the range can be to find you a suitable opponent. I usually restart the search every ~ 2 minutes. I don't mind searching for a long time - I would rather wait longer than have bad opponent. In 1-1 I rarely had a really completely out of bounds opponent. And the same goes for 4v4 with team games usually they were around the same level. Thread: About the regions appering on top in matchmaking19 Oct 2021, 10:56 AM I think I have seen a post from Relic somewhere saying that it basically doesn't matter what you pick there - matchmaking is global and it will select the best option automatically based on all players in the match.
