I would recommend learning how to ambush with raketens. The real problem is with light tanks being OP af not in OKW's lack of shrecks. Ps. people do go for multiple sturms and make it work. On certain 1v1 maps, a UKF player can simply put their mortar pit inside their base sector and have it reach up to 80% of the map whilst being totally safe. It's almost an axis buff. The panthers and p4s would largely benefit from having more soviet tanks on the field. It would also tie up pop cap if they needed it for su85s or katushas. The point is the pros and cons of the proposed mechanism would relatively balanced and would reward skill. I like it from a flavour stand point as well. I would be in favour of a similar mechanic for sov losing infantry and getting conscripts. Maybe 3 to 1. In: COH2 Balance

I think the the t34/85 was already cost efficient prior to the patch. The mg buff brought it more efficiency. The obvious solution is to revert the mg buff to pre-patch, as the change was unintended. The tank will still be efficient and if that's because it's doctrinal, so be it, but at least show a little love towards some of the other call ins (especially the flame hetzer). In: COH2 Balance
