Thread: Katyusha seriously need a nerf27 Jul 2014, 01:22 AM Just finished a game where I killed 2 enemy katyushas with one barrage, and later on 2 more + some supporting units with 1 stuka counterbattery They sit there for a full 6 seconds firing their rockets, show up in the fog of war, and die in literally one hit. Fallschirms popping out of a building could kill one without a faust before your enemy knew what was going on. In: COH2 Balance

I said artillery on both sides is ridiculous and they should both be nerfed. OKW players desperately clutching their overpowered stuka, while demanding the equally stupid katyusha be nerfed is what people argue with me about. I'd like to play a tactical WW2 RTS, not an artillery simulator. Also, don't lump me in with that troll In: COH2 Balance

Not the number of other faction games played. Kat...is...OP...as....hell. Stuka...is...easy to dodge has no vet 1 OMG YOU WILL DIE ability which didnt used to be a problem because you would be lucky to get to Vet 1 in 2 games.... It was at one time a balanced unit then a stupid waste of fuel now its OP. Call me a German player DO IT! big deal, you switched to germans after WFA launched after playing soviets in vanilla If kat is op, so is the stuka. They are on the same level right now. I'd like to see Jumbo eventually, but it would be just another KV-1, so I won't cry if they won't implement it. Jumbo Sherman had much better armor than the KV-1. 4inches = 101mm of armor, and taking into account the slope, it had better armor on the front than the Tiger and slightly more than the Panther. If it were up to me, I'd give it the front armor of the Panther equipped with the M4A3's 75mm gun, with a ~60-75 munitions upgrade to get a 76mm gun that's worse against infantry but better against armor. It would of course be slower than the sherman and panther. With the 76mm gun, it would be essentially a slower Panther with less hp. I'd maybe have it cost about as much as the E8 Pershing would be a bit trickier to balance, though. In: COH2 Gameplay
