Thread: Soviets dealing with heavy late german armor30 Jan 2016, 23:45 PM I had this problem in a 3v3, my IS-2 got pummeled by a Jagdtiger, I didn't have the fuel to buy another for a while. So I slowly built up SU-76s while using their barrage to lock down the VP I was guarding from Axis blobs, then I held out against a KT and Tiger push on the VP. Finally once I repaired my damaged SU-75s me and an ally coordinated an assault with me attracting the Jagdtiger's attention and him to flank... worked perfectly and the SU-76s performed SO much better than the IS-2 in tank to tank fights. Sometimes I can beat volk blobs and sometimes I can't. No matter the outcome of the match win or lose it always makes me want to play less when I face volk blobs, and that's the problem. They are so anti-fun it sucks the enjoyment of the game right out of people. Nobody wants to play against that hot garbage, nobody in their right mind says "Nah man this is fun" when they face volk-schreck blobs. So get Relic to find a good fix that pulls the guts out of the volk-schreck blob issue while still maintaining good competitive play for the OKW faction and it's just fine with me, you won't hear another word about it. But it's not ok to act like the blobs are fine, that they belong, that they should stay. I feel the same way about Riflemen blobs, but are they going ot go away? No. Neither will Volk blobs, that is just the faction design. I find using Volk shrek blobs boring, but it is the most effective strat to use with OKW, just as Rfilemen blobs are most effective strat to use with USF. I know two blobs don't make a right, but both of these faction were built with blobbing in mind. In: COH2 Balance

It's old OKW with slightly worse vet and better, well, everything else. Only the Kubel has changed significantly. I'd rather have balanced the ''old'' OKW rather than remove all of the faction's weaknesses and turn them into a constantly blobbing, tank-rushing PITA of a faction. But maybe that's just me. The old OKW was a constantly blobbing, tank-rushing PITA of a faction. All they did was add the ability to get a light vehicle without it destroying your tank rush. In: COH2 Balance
