Thread: mg34 needs a price increase or a small nerf6 Sep 2014, 13:31 PM I think the point of this discussion is, when you're having 1200 rounds being shoved into your face, it's probably going to be a lot more persuading than having "just" 800 RPM. The MG-34 has to be innately less effective than the MG42 due to it's cost and the description of the call-in. And when it has much, much better suppression compared to the MG42, which is the point of ALL HMGs in this game, there's a problem. In: COH2 Balance

Having the upgrade be reset is perfectly fine - as the vehicle isn't "owned" by anyone when you get out (it's "abandoned"), the game can't tell who it belongs to, and who the give the "MG upgrade finished" message to. Losing munitions, if that does happen, however is a bug. In: COH2 Bugs

I have a feeling that they disabled it due to money or something more sinister, related maybe to 3D models. Ah, but seeing the CoH1 Riflemen model in CoH2 gave me a laugh. Those skins up there in your post are probably the last homage to any sort of modding that CoH2 had, so keep it up. (However, I did hear Duffy talk about implementing modding tools, that even the modding tools were already being alpha tested, during the second Gamescon livestream - so keep your fingers crossed) In: Lobby
Thread: Elite OKW infantry able to spawn behind enemy lines24 Aug 2014, 04:09 AM I generally try to get anything that has a Flamethrower or goes boom with serious punch, and I kill every building within reach. Armor, Rifle, Mechanized, and Airborne/Recon (for those cheaper Paratrooper Timed Demo Charges) are good for that. It's really, REALLY annoying to do, though, and it takes up a lot of micro. Burning down buildings however takes an age and a half to do, and using explosives like Demo Charges is expensive (although the Paratrooper demo charges cost half as much - really nice for just killing buildings). The 105mm Sherman is pretty effective at killing buildings, though. In: COH2 Balance

Exactly like it was with soviet campaign, except you'll be able to pick one option first instead of having it enforced from get go. Why people expect multiplayer stuff on exclusively single player stand alone DLC is beyond me. Considering the Soviet SP commanders are in MP right now, I wouldn't be so hasty in saying that. Thread: New Soviet Commander: Tank Hunter Tactics 22 Aug 2014, 22:59 PM @Katitof & Abdul Tested it with the CheatCommands mod. It's very similar to the CoH1 Pioneer's Salvage ability, where it gives resources over time and destroys the carcass of the vehicle over time. It's pretty good considering it gives about 10-15 fuel (as well as something else, I'll go into that later) total per wreck, and unlike the OKW Salvage ability, it actually scales the resources given as you get bigger vehicles. It also gives some really, REALLY out of the ordinary - Manpower. And it gives a pretty healthy amount of Manpower as well, maybe 50 total for a small wreck and up to 75 total for a heavy wreck. Thread: OKW Schwere Panzer HQ Range19 Aug 2014, 16:20 PM It's more nitpicky than gamebreaking, but ever since the range of 37mm cannon was increased, the range indicator on the truck (the dotted circle) hasn't been touched. So when I move my soldiers (or more commonly, my vehicles) every remotely near that line, the flak truck starts beating down on them 10 meters outside of it. Should be a quick-fix, just increase the radius of the circle to match the range. In: COH2 Bugs
