You can't stop an off maps(unless it's aerial) from happening, you have to do what it wants, move out of the way or die. I don't really see how this is a valid argument. Flare is really pain in the ass(especially current OKW special ops flare) because 1. it is uncountable 2. highly likely arty will come 3. force retreat/move unit in the area 4. sight advantage in combat I'm with others that flare must be gone for good. In all factions. even ones that unit is required to shoot. In: COH2 Balance

Airborne is already one of the most poplar USF commander and does need to be buffed by allowing the bazooka upgrade to Paras. Neither does it need to overlap more with reckon. Step might be need to close the power gap between the Reckon and Airborne commander. Thompson access to support paras might be in the right direction bazooka access in the wrong direction. The main issue with support paras is the bundle with howitzer and one should consider removing that possibly making support paras call-in unit instead of paradroped one. I honestly don't see a reason to pick a recon over airborne. in current or preview commander patch. arty from pathfinder got nurfed & howi also got nurfed so there is no point of choosing recon. dropping AT or mg from airborne gives much more flexible tech to the USF(which they lack in default). Giving bazooka upgrade to paratrooper...Well yes it is a buff since you don't need to pay extra money to unlock weapon lack, but rightful mind player won't choose to pickup bazooka with para.... Shouldn't this be 1.25 -> 1,1 / total of 5.5? OST already has similar skill with 1.1 speed per model. OKW already has good repair speed combined with sturmpio + tier2 truck. 6.25 is almost the speed of normal engineers(pio/RE 1.6 per model). In: COH2 Balance

That's why I did not strongly argued to simply remove the penalties, but "look into it". Buffed UKF tanks are great, but costs extra amount of fuel+mp designated for the commander tank. And addition to extreamly high pop for UKF tanks, it is very hard to designate one(even chromwell). So in almost all cases, you end up with AEC if it survived during the mid-game. If you think about 1v1 there is not really a huge amounts of tanks at the battle field even in late-games. (Top-most 3~4 middle), loosing one simply to buff other is very harsh penalties. So I'm suggesting to reduce the buff & penalties a bit so it can be widely used even with 1~3 tanks. I know we've already made buffed speed penalty, but still -50% accuracy & slow rate of fire means command vehicle upgraded tank is not usable in overall. All other faction's command vehicle does not have such penalties (but again, yes command vehicle in UKF gives a lot better buff aura). Why not remove at least -50% accuracy penalty? Would be too imbalance? In: COH2 Balance
