His Ostheer sniper had 100+ kills by the end of it, true story. I wish I could of killed that sniper as USF. I also wished I saved the replay.... That might have been me, a while back got 120 something kills on Crossing in the Woods with snipers But to the actual topic, USF is weak against the sniper but smart play will be able to negate the bleed, sometimes well placed mines will get the sniper but this requires a lot of planning and knowledge about your opponents sniper micro (works well for all three factions) I haven't played usf in a long time but as ostheer I have played a lot, especially 2v2s, usually my sniper dies if there's a single opening in the defensive line that allows the M20/Sturat to break through and base rush to get the sniper, this is a huuuge risk and usually leads to the loss of the light vehicle If the sniper is well covered with mines on possible openings, mgs to stop inf and Paks to deal with tanks, the sniper is almost immortal, I've had multiple game in which I've gotten 100+ kills with double sniper against USF in 2v2, especially double usf. Something needs to be done about it, especially from 2v2 perspective In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Penal Troops Idea11 Jan 2016, 12:23 PM Well, having them be glass cannons wouldn't be too good since in volks and grens would completely annihilate them while they're trying to close up But here's my thoughts: Your Vet 1 ability idea sounds nice, could be something like the STroopers and ThompsonParas ability But vet 2 could be a short range sticky explosive of some sort to throw on tanks that would deal medium damage on a tank and cause the tank to move slower for a while, also received accuracy buff for this vet could be nice Vet 3 - They would get 3 ppshs to replace their rifles to have some kind of late game scale There shouldn't be a radical change to these unit but making the squad vet and scale a lot better would be better for them, right now they're a bad unit because there's about zero late game value for them In: Scrap Yard
Thread: bulletins/commanders not saving11 Jan 2016, 12:11 PM Have you tried making a new Loadout and saving it? This used to happen to me once in a while, sometimes it still deletes one or two of the bulletins/commanders But the bigger issue got fixed by making a new loadout and saving it (Now I have like 10 loadouts for all factions since it kept on doing it all the time) In: Hardware and Tech
Thread: Good alternatives to company of heroes 2?11 Jan 2016, 09:49 AM MOW is the only game really comparable to coh2, but if you're looking for a better and more balanced RTS game i have to suggest StarCraft 2, it's currently being balanced because of the new expansion pack but it should be fine in a few months But I gotta throw the Supreme Commander card here, still my favourite RTS game ever but the multiplayer died But right now, CoH2 is the best WWII RTS game there is In: Other Games

Thread: T70 or Quad-mount?11 Jan 2016, 09:28 AM T-70 is a beast in the right hands with the correct micro, Quad Mount is a lot easier to use and doesn't kill infantry as much but the suppression is very good to have if you're facing hoards of infantry So, T-70 if you're dealing with light vehicles or need straight killing power against infantry Quad Mount if you need suppression to help your inf out In: Lobby
