Some shoutcasters, like myself and TFN for instance, cover up the progress bar, but that's not as good because it still blocks the screen. Honestly when it comes to watching a replay the times that you want a progress bar are probably way less common than the times you don't want one, especially because we can't rewind a replay or jump to a point on the progress bar...
