I agree USF sucks now but spamming these threads pisses people off more than anything.

Ya centering a faction on having the best starting rifle squad and nothing else that doesn't scale well into the late game unless you get LMGs and bleeds manpower probably wasn't the best design idea.
EDIT: Like for real rifles are not cost efficient once 7 minute lmg gren hell starts unless you get lmgs and spam defensive stance and then it is just cheesy fun for everyone. |
Hmm I don't think so. Sure the t34/76 got a price decrease but it was a shitty tank before the patch and now that it comes so late a price decrease was needed to make its impact on the game not be laughable.
The Sherman can wipe squads fairly well. Ya it comes a little later but it is still a solid choice. I think USF has 99 problems but the Sherman isn't one.
Engage German anti-inf with your sherman, their AT with your inf, and just bend over and lose the game to OP42s. |
If your answer is #adapt to the very strict build order that keeps USF in the game vs Ostheer then that means it was a bad patch for USF.
Unless a faction doing the same build every game is considered good now. I don't really know how this board feels about that. Everyone loved Guard Motor so much maybe that is what they want to go back to. |

Maybe if they fix the insane manpower bleed USF has things wouldn't be so shitty.
By the 10 minute mark even after dominating early and then trading evenly in the late game I never have enough manpower to do anything. The math is wrong somewhere. |

Indirect fire as USF is not advisable. Just be super aggressive with rifles, use grenades. If you can't make that work, or HMCs/off-maps, go around. If that doesn't work, gg you got outplayed.

Playing on Crossing in the Woods and the mortar halftrack did nothing. Barrage, attack ground, auto, WP, none of it worked. |
