They still do damage to infantry with regular guns the only problem is the current cost of them since I always thought the cost was high because of the elite status + LMG.
Why would noone buy stg anymore? It ignores cover and with veterancy on obers its a very powerful weapon.
At the end of the day they are still human like other units in OKW so they will still die from khm tank shells and high concentration of lead in their bloodstream. |

I like the guide but I must say unlike you I am a big fan of their smoke granade. It just stirs confusion,makes enemy less durable.
I love to throw those on garissoned buildings since it makes the uncapable to fire outside and it leeches their hp. While they are under smoke jaegers just have to wait for them to come out and mow them down...and if they don't leave the building well...the effect is the same,they can't stay in there for long with 1% of hp pool. |

I only use granades when going special ops so I don't have the lack of munitions. Nowadays I mostly use them for ober upgrades,mines or that vet 1 granade obers and falchimjagers have because that thing is crazy when properly used.

Since the buff of mg42 did anyone try giving mg42's camo for extra damage (if I remember correctly units gained dmg bonus after first few seconds when they get out of stealth)?
I wonder if it raises their effectiveness. |

I always loved panzergranadiers but right now I am forced not to take them. They die too easily and even with schrecks I am lucky if I can shoot a tank without losing the whole squad from a single round.
They still do good damage against infantry and are potent AT with their schrecks but they feel like a glass cannons and have to be taken care of all the time. I would love if their squad formation could be more spread out so they don't take so much damage from aoe sources of damage. |

Yeah thats why I asked, I usually take luftwaffe support doctrines but this time I decided to try something new.
I've been seeing more and more IS-2 doctrines going around which make Tigers not so viable anymore so I thought about trying out elefant doctrines again.
The one with stuka,scopes and elefant could be even better for B4 commander aswell.
Does the halftrack mine still immobilize tanks? |

Yeah I figured taking vet 3 mortar was a bad choice but I was curious how he would work. Wasn't too bad until I lost him like a shmuck.
Second pz4 I know why I lost but first was a surprise because I think this was the first time a fricking cons nade wrecked an engine of pz4 from front. Used to light engine damage but not critical damage.
In the end I just lost the will to fight, I've lost like 2-3 squads in one shots from IS-2 or T-360s before they could even say waffle or throw a schreck.
For B4 issue I am curious how much damage does a stuka diving strike do to that gun? |
