Yeah your right, i think the USF AT gun has needed some love forever, give it better pen, nerf the P47 slightly to be more consistent. Fixes the problem of late game armour disadvantages to a point where it should be balanced In: COH2 Balance

Like others said, it compensates for the US's weak late game. That is in no way an excuse for the way this unit behaves. This unit either does 90-95% damage or it does barely 10-15%. If it is Over performing than you balance it. A doctrinal ability shouldnt be a factions only late game ability, that is just bad gameplay design. In: COH2 Balance

USF have no way to deal with this beast within the 5 min mark, by which point, if the player using it is good, he will have both fuel points and 70-80% of the map. Happened to me on Crossing in the Woods today. You can only kill it if it is poorly handled or your opponents micro dissipates for 5 seconds. So frustrating. The idea is you're supposed to supplement each tiers weakness with commander abilities. This is the problem, I think Relic thought that having two factions with the same teching structure would mean bad variety (Sov and Osth from release). However if we sacrificed a little variety for better balance I think that it would be terrific. Make the tier's affordable and balance units within the tiers accordingly, and this would make a more enjoyable game+meta. In: COH2 Balance
