It's not that. Its just that double USF is just completely and utterly trash in 2v2s. They are horrible. Any good player will tell you that double USF in 2v2 is like the most underpowered thing in the game Thank god the soviet faction exists And hopeffuly a new allied faction next patch

USF and Soviet have the best combo in 2v2s for reasons i stated earlier.

What do you guys think is the reason for this imbalance? I personally was astonished that double USF does so well.

Its simple....

Allies have a strong early game (particularly USF since they get free squads for teching up) which snowballs axis in the early game.

This ensures they have a good amount of fuel due to map control to out-macro the axis in the late game.



Personally i find the most ridiculous combination is Airborne and Guard motor tactics....

This combo of factions/commanders literally holds the upper hand for the entire game.

120mm mortar is devastating, wipes squads way too consistently especially with the current infantry blobbing issue.
guards PRTS now act like 30% chance sniper rifles...
USF get free heavy weapon squads for teching.
Airborne are fairly cheap (considering the price of german elite infantry and squad sizes)

and heres the mother of all insane combinations from these commanders....


Marked Target + Jacksons + Rocket planes....

can kill a Tiger/KT almost instantly. (3-4 jackson shots + marked target = dead tiger, and if not the plane comes in and finishes it off).

(Soviets can also use the commander with Marked target and ISU152 in this combo).

I've been away from the game for awhile, but I do like this game. That said 1v1 auto is in a bad state.

I'm an average player (1500 w Wehr) and having to play top guys or noobs over and over again is not good. For example, I tried to play several games today and the guys I played against are: 5, 15, total noob, 200, 32, 51, total noob. That's not fun for anyone. If you think it is or that it is educational your wrong. It just isn't. More successful games have tiering because of this.

Solution: narrow the window on opponents. If I am ranked 1500 with Wehr match me against 2000 to 1000 guys. Yes that will increase the wait time on games perhaps substantially (minimal player base), but better that than the current nonsense.

FYI - used CELO to get the rankings. That is a whole other story. :/

To be honest if they did this you could be sat hours waiting for a game.

The reason you get matched vs good players is because theyve been sat waiting longer trying to find someone their level, and it works down.

Theyre both fine....
Only thing id change is the SKin on the Tiger ace to match that of COh1 tiger ace in campaign....

IS2 is good AI and decent AT, its a solid tank.


Tiger... its a good tank, but i feel it spends half its life in reverse from Jacksons or SU85s....

Tiger could maybe do with a frontal armor buff.... Granted in RL the panther was harder to penetrate from the front, but from the cost of the tiger i feel it should have more field presence than it does....

Used to crap myself in Coh1 at tigers, now i think "marked target and lololololol".

Personally i find a StuG + paks works really well vs IS2's (target weakpoint is a must).

ISU is abit more tricky especially if its flanks are well covered. I would suggest taking note of what commander your enemy likely is before choosing a doctrine if he has this on his bar (especially the one with guard rifles and marked target). Where a pak 43 will not help you due to IL2 bombs.

Panzer 4's can counter this if its un-supported however if it is supported by ZIS's mines and guards (which can button flanking tanks and lose you them) I really would recommend having an elefant commander on your loadout just incase.
