Thread: OKW general strategy discussion23 Jul 2014, 15:33 PM Panther only has good Frontal Armour, its side and rear Armour can be penetrated by pretty much anything. Panther is only "universal" because it has MG's other than that it is a dedicated "Mobile" Tank Destroyer. In: OKW Strategies
Thread: OKW general strategy discussion23 Jul 2014, 15:02 PM I've been trying going Infantry in to Fuel Conversion in to Panther just to see how an Earlier Panther fair's it does well vs T34/76's and Shermans, if you know how to use it, but other than that it just. eh.. It can bounce Jacksons, but in a 1:1 fight it comes down to RNG, Jackson will almost always get the first shot, the Panther needs to bounce and hit every single shot to win. I just, Panther needs some love, be it HP, Sight range or Rate of fire, oh and target priority. Shame too I used to love the Panther Now it's just, most times I'd rather have a Sturmtiger. As most okw barely get past vet 2/3 (Volks, any kind of tank) The things you see get Vet the most are Infantry guns when they actually work, Puppchens and Obers. Every other squad has to commit war crimes and mass genocide to get above vet 3. In: COH2 Gameplay

It will help a lot, means we can use more nade's and not worry about not having muni for Shreckvolks, also means if we chose to Convert Muni for fuel, it might actually be worth while now and get us more than +3/4 a minute, probably looking at about +8/10 with good Map Control - Might actually be able to semi compete with Fuel Cache builders late game. (I still think caches need adjusting, at least for 1v1/2v2 in team games unless its 4 OKW you will generally get some from a Wher ally) In: COH2 Gameplay

I know they were a staple tank in the war and we already have options for Panther's, KT, and other doctrinal tanks. I feel this is just a way to try and say "Look guys, you get a medium tank call in too just like t34-85 lol" - Except it's worse, at least IMO I'd give advantage T34-85 with Zis support then I would to Pz4J with Puppchen/shreckvolks. Thread: WC51 Nerf?22 Jul 2014, 23:04 PM Vet,how are you not banned yet? lol. The reason it was nerfed is because it was Stronger than an M3 and it can garrison a rifle squad making it just insane. There is very little you can do against it early game as Okw unless you open Ratten first or second (and no one does that, you get a ratten reactionary when you see light armour, or by 7 minutes latest in prep for AA HT/Stuart/T70) In: COH2 Balance

Pretty much, the only "good" part about it is it heals crits, but hey, USF get that for free if they just jump out the tank. Come on Relic, the self repair in its current state in the Doctrine needs to be 20, maybe 30 muni, MAX, not the 60 or 80 it is right now. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Making OKW Elite Armored work22 Jul 2014, 21:13 PM Lets wait till they Fix Heat rounds first. - By fix I mean when they scatter they lose a lot of velocity and you can tell that it is a scatter and not a hit just due to how slow the round is moving in comparison, it usually scatters short almost every time due to this and has almost zero chance of hitting the target. Also the Pz4's aren't even that good they are slightly worse than Whermacht Pz4's and come in a lot later. They also NEED to be upgraded for 80? Muni Each with the extra durability to be worth while at all. In: COH2 Gameplay
