Can you throw up some screenshots of your highly detailed area's, as to give an idea of how much you have? What are your computer specs? I still have the crashes. Maybe I can find some kind of error report? I have the feeling that the high amount of grass is causing the crashes... My map is not finished, I'm on about 50% completion, but I can't continue because of the crashes. I rarely experienced crashes! i5 4570 @ 3.2 GHz overclocked to 3.4 GHz Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 (3 GB VRAM) 16 GB RAM (Kingston HyperX Beast) Windows 7 64-bit World Builder is installed on my SSD. I have no lag when editing. Some screenshots, but I don't know how to enhance the graphics / grass draw distance (if this is even possible): Hope that it can give some obviousness. Every time I place 2 objects, it crashes. Is there an object, grass or some other kind of limit that I transcended? (Please ignore my bad english.) I use this for movement restriction on one of my maps, and it works well. Keep in mind, the AI will bunch up at the entrance to it, if it is too packed, so if you are doing this to restrict movement, such as I did, make multiple paths in the same area, this will reduce traffic jams. Thanks! And I knew that, I made a map earlier, called Operation Bridge Builder; there are three bridges in this map, 2 of them destroyed at the beginning. What happened? Well, the AI spammed all units on the bridge that wasn't destroyed. And it was a foot bridge, so everything gets stuck. I've learned from that, lol. In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: Building aren't garrison-able units walk through them?6 May 2014, 14:29 PM They're all garrisonable, I use them a lot, actually. Try to use the impass overlay. Go to Overlay (fifth bar on the top of the screen), Draw Overlay Map (somewhere in the middle), Draw Impass Map Now you will red and white/invisible blocks. The red blocks mean non-walkable and non-drivable spots (blocked), so no units can use these places. The white/invisible blocks mean that the units can use these spots, but keep in mind that your units won't be able to come to such spots when there are red blocks surrounding it. When you see only white/invisible blocks when you clicked the Impass Map, you can reload it using SHIFT+F5. (CTRL+F5 is the shortcut for Overlay.) I hope that my comment helped you a bit. Try to keep the entrances of the buildings white-invisible. In: Mapping Discussion
