There is nothing wrong though with doing little sneak peaks if you have no units in the field, just be aware of the cooldown of the ability. I mean it's basically an increased line of sight ability, so use it when you need it and if there are not enemy tanks incoming. Ok, cool - seems like you're not suggesting we have to change how we use the SU85 too much. In: COH2 Balance

Rather obvious it will serve 250-240mp generalist inf good when it costs 300 itself and is AI specialist" Your analysis completely ignores other units like cons and combat engineers which have not been buffed at all. This is because SU needs a unit to take the 'frontline infantry' role, this is the penal squad. I.e. you're looking at penals in isolation and trying to claim that they alone are OP, but maybe you were being hit by a mortar or maxin or a mine while the penal was attacking? How do we know you're being completely transparent in your post? P.S. plenty of units can wreck squads on retreat: these incl sturms, 222, T70, obers, storms, commandos, rifleman BARs, snipers, assault grens, 42 grens... You need to incorporate those units into ANY argument you make about units being killed on retreat. In: COH2 Balance

It's not going to be on the front-line after the first 5 minutes and it's not that strong in counter-harassment, so give it something else. I've experimented in the CE mod where you pay munitions to give it an ambulance healing aura so Soviets can choose to pay munitions rather than MP for healing, but there are plenty of other ways. Maybe some sort of stationary camo for scouting, mobile repairs, maybe have Kubel mini-map hack, etc, etc. I'd rather have it be more useful as a late-game cutoff capper. But in order to do this role, it needs more speed and agility. Currently the Kubel is a lot better at capping cutoff points. The M3A should be able to do so, especially as you need a unit inside it to do the capping. It does get a speed boost at Vet1 but it's really not expected to survive that long. So, perhaps a lategame camo option would be my preference? In: COH2 Balance

I trade the PewPewing at vet 2 for good penetration anytime. Good changes overall. Would you recommend (in general) keeping the new Su85 in long-range sight mode more often, to rely more on range and less on maneuvering? In: COH2 Balance
