Thread: April 25th Update26 Apr 2017, 08:20 AM I now think one unit that could really use a buff is the Katy. Not a weapon buff, but actually a mobility buff - so that it can respond quickly where it's needed most against strong, vetted OKW. And also so that it can escape from panthers - because it gets 1 shotted most of the time. Needs to be able to get into position, fire a barrage and get out again fast. Maybe a health buff so it can last long enough. RUS needs help in its T4 anti-infantry line-up. Maxims keep OKW at bay now, but kill a lot less. That has to be catered for elsewhere. In: Lobby

Knowing that there might be a faust you just kite them. Right know there is no risk at all when using M3. But what's more important, you cannot balance the game on wrong assumptions. If early pzfaust will leave Soviets helpless, you fix Soviets without breaking pzfasut. Right now well-executed M3 tears apart OKW without any chances to come back. Some maps have vital houses some do not. (late game performance of OKW is rather irrelevant here since we are talking about map related issues) Having a Maxim that is too strong when in garrison will make Soviet (or Soviet T2) a very map depended faction, and that is bad design. As I said before in my opinion Maxim is too strong when in garrison and changes should be made to either nerf the maxim when in garrison or buff the tools available to axis to deal with it. The maxim is no stronger in garrison than any other MG. You just want to keep maxim weak. You're not accepting that Relic has imposed strict scope changes so Soviets need help from their maxims (currently). In: COH2 Balance
