ummm... what? maybe if you charge at it from the front. otherwise it just dies. kubel is garbage against soviets, its alright against america noobs who charge it with 3 rifles from the front and don't bother flanking. otherwise it dies. you can only go straight back or forward or else the driver will start doing some doughnuts in front of the enemy instead of simply driving away. |

I don't see what relevance that has to what I posted. My point was Vetlol makes OKW out to be so bad that they are literally impossible to win with and that he really needs to take a chill pill on the whining.

1v1 the balance is pretty good, but the larger the team games get the way more broken everything gets due to the map and faction design. Team games are all about blobbing and camping. Which is just naturally what Germans are better at due to better support weapons, artillery and then with a much stronger late game. Not only is it stronger, it's also much much easier. German tanks are strong anti everything, Soviet and American tanks are fragile, delicate and finesse units that are easy to lose with a single mistake. (SU-85 + Jackson.)
In 1v1's there is room for flanking, outmanoeuvring and outplaying your opponent. Teams games more than anything are just which teams blob and camp the fuel points, and them able to call in the most tanks
i'm not sure about germans being uber powerful in team games. even 4v4, a well coordinated 3 sov and 1 merica team i would argue is the strongest combo at the moment. followed by 2 wehr and 2 okw, but, that can screw you over if it chooses to set up double okw/wehr on some maps. |
t4 germans is suicide no matter what mode you play. its only good for pwerfer. in 4v4 it can sort of work if you have enough fuel for t3 and t4, and only build pwerf and a brombar, only for trolling if you are winning. i only do this if i'm going the 2 luft docs. if you have a tiger doc you are only screwing yourself over by going t4. |

wow and when i capture one i can't even get it to fire. this would explain allot. i had a couple games where this has been exploited but i haven't seen it in a while. i thought it was fixed. |
Dunno. Yes, the Su 85 appears questionable at first: It is effectively useless against infantry, it is relatively fragile, and it requires a great deal of discipline and savoir faire. On close maps like Stalingrad it is borderline useless. Then again, once the Su 85 hits vet 2 it receives an ROF/accuracy bonus that makes it highly dangerous to every piece of armour in the German arsenal save the Elefant/Jagdtiger and enables it to deter basically any armour push that is unsupported by At guns. A Tiger for example won't ever catch up with it given you reverse in time, and even at max range you will penetrate with almost 2 out of 3 shots. In summary it is a niche unit - and it will stay one unless its design is fundamentally altered - but it clearly has its strenghts.
I think overall a bit of a decrease in the fuel price and an increase of its rotation speed would be in order.

i would like to see this mode back too. maybe a light tank class, medium, heavy medium, heavy tank. it could be allot of fun. especially with crews that can get out and take the other guys tanks.
this of course would mean the americans would have to get the pershing. hehe |
