Thread: USF and MP bleed9 Aug 2021, 04:51 AM I have notice that USF struggle with MP especially during mid and late game. The late game situation is even worst if USF player did poorly mid game. This make USF player have to pick and choose the fights where trading MP with axis player, this results to blobbing. This kind of situation happens often in 1v1 and 2v2 and rarely on 3v3 or 4v4. Historical perspective, USF does not have any manpower shortages whatsoever during the war and i find it odd that OKW player float MP far more often than USF and soviets. OKW MP float is another issue not to be discussed here. From my general analysis, 1.USF faction base infantry/support weapons has fairly high popcap requirements, even teching for LT, CAPT, MJR requires popcap. This lead to smaller army size. 2. USF support weapons squad reinforcement cost is way too high. 3. rear echelon - worst base infantry in the game for 200mp 5pop. I dont see the purpose of having them other than bunker and tanktraps (green cover) In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Pathfinders?30 Jul 2021, 15:21 PM pathfinder and JLI are supposedly played differently. JLI with upgrade are a dedicated marksman and its a beast in squad wipes in retreat thanks to high accuracy. pathfinder is more of a scout unit that perform slightly better than Rear achelons. Thread: SU-76 buff? 19 Jul 2021, 02:33 AM SU76 is not too bad for an AT. It can counter any axis armor, until the super heavy arrives. Even that SU76 vet3 can do moderately well against king tiger. SU76 pros: fast reload 3-4 sec 60 range good mobility the problem with this version of SU76 is role as a dedicated AT for 280MP and 75 fuel (8 pop) when i can get a Zis gun that served the same role and better investment in the long game. the only suggested buff, would be returning its role as an assualt gun. then come another issue. it may perform better than T34/76. Thread: A question about Mainline Infantry Vet16 Jul 2021, 10:30 AM a bit off topic Is the conscript upgrade to a 7 man squad better than a conscript 6 man squad with stolen lmg42? I m curious on the actual performance of the 7 man upgrade and if its worth it to upgrade. i m split on the the conscript upgrade. it cost 50 mun + 18MP reinforce and cant pick up weapons. and unlike the Osther and OKW upgrade which is a nobrainer upgrade, does it apply to conscript upgrade In: COH2 Gameplay
