Thread: The problem with USF Rear Echelon Squads22 Mar 2022, 02:58 AM The thing is RE utility is bad. on top of the bad AI performance and bad MP cost and reinforce cost. no other unit in COH2 is this terrible. personally RE need a buff in its AI performance by buffing M2 carbine ROF close/mid range, give them 0.75x accuracy penalty on the move in order to make them somewhat a makeshift assaults troops. Grenadier and allied squad do have the same EHP vs explosives it is correct. wow thats a massive buff to grenadier. that means each grenadier model has an effective 96 HP vs explosives. for comparison each infantry model has an effective 80HP vs explosives. mortars deal 80 dmg per direct shot, thus grens can survive a direct mortar shot. Consider the following: It takes a long time to set up in order to shoot. It is not greatly mobile. It is very fragile and easy to hit with attack ground. Look at Soviet AA HT: it is more mobile, can fire on the move, can suppress better, and is cheaper. USF AA: mobile is about the same, can shoot on the move, has more damage from cannon, very good at suppress, same price. you miss the most important aspect of 251 AA HT It has the get-the-hell-out smoke if it is in trouble. it has slightly better DPS and splash radius. and kill stuff quicker In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Why Stuart is sh*t compared to T7016 Feb 2022, 04:58 AM Lelic designed both these vehicles for different roles T70 ideally designate as AI. however T70 dont do so well against medium, or even puma, flakHT or even shrekblobs stuart however could handle any vehicles upto medium tanks and even heavy if well microed. Also, look at their army presence and timeline. Soviets lacks AI capabilities from 10min unless reinforced with doctrine callins. USF lacks of effective AT/AV capabilities early-mid game. zooks are too expensive for their effectiveness. Instead of directly comparing those 2 stats. You should look into army weekness, and these 2 units supplement their faction weekness well. In: Lobby

SSS tier is definitely CE. well micro Demo and mines are just cherry on top and definitely outshines conscripts. S tier (shit tier) awarded to RE. frankly speaking even with lmg upgrades and bars dont scale well into lategame axis infantry. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Upgunning the soviets - the IS-2 22 Dec 2021, 02:45 AM if SU76 is effective at wiping german infantry. i ll gladly build them. back to topic. i remember back when IS-2 had 240dmg but it takes 8-9 secs reload and seriously bad scatter just to balance it. If RNG is on your side, it can wipe squads left and right and each shell have huge AOE. Even if the shell miss, it would damage the infantry squad badly. And yes, it has about the same front armor as KT. its a breakthrough tank afterall. In: COH2 Balance
