At long range, 200 / 310 = 64% to pen. In order for 2 Jackson to twoshot a Panther all four shots need to penetrate. Chance for that is (0.645 ^ 4) which is around 0.13 So your "most of the time" boils down to 13% of the time or one in eight encounters. In: Lobby

But Axis people trembling in fear need to realize Jackson shots only deal 25% more damage than a t34/76. But somehow people always conveniently forget it also reloads around 25% slower. StuGs are the unlikely winners of this Jackson buff. They will now die in 3 M36 hits instead of 2. So they can handle 2 Jackson reload cycles instead of one. However, reliable penetrations of expensive Axis tanks from the front will be a huge deal because M36 will vet up faster. Dunno if OP for 1v1s, but this change probably singlehandedly saved allied larger team games. In: Lobby

Increase is 1 / 0.7. This is more of a 43% increase. Example : A 0.25 modifier would mean they shoot 4 times faster. A 300% increase in DPS. But by your logic you would call that a 75% increase. That has to be the biggest change to the game. Hope it's a good one. Unless I've missed something, mortars do not supress. The "mild" supression is given only to the 420 / 480 mp field guns. Forgive me if I am not holding my breath. In CoH1, even the 240MP mortars dished out supression if they landed on top of a squad. It did not make the game any worse. Massive supression radius for howitzer impacts and maybe even mortar strikes would do wonders for the blob meta. In: Lobby
