A lot of tournaments require you to sign up with another site, track down a section of that site, register with a tournament on that section, find the contact details of the player/team you are to be facing, add them, organise a time to play across timezones, etc. Even same day tournaments can often rely on the players doing a lot of the work to figure out who they are playing and how to get in touch with them. This is doubly as hard with opponents who are "less skilled" at being communicative and making contact. If you're having that much difficulty open a ticket and ask the tournament admins for help or even send me an email or contact me on steam. In: Lobby

It's aimed for casual players yet it has an extraordinary competitive scene because it has no "micro" or "macro" (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean) doesn't make the game irrelevant. I would say it's a very relevant game and a good example of a game that destroys the preconceptions people have on this board about what makes a game competitive or not. These preconceptions people have do the CoH scene way more harm and should be dumped immediately or you can continue to have your 100 online player tournaments every quarter with 40-60% no shows and continue to bicker about trivial ladder placements or a crappy pride post replay.
