before i switched to my new computer ive never had an incidence of this crash... but now it seems almost every other game i suffer a filedump 183 crash.... this is extremely frustrating and debilitating as it likes to occur without warning....
question
1. what is the cause of filedump 183 crashes?
2. what is the reason why the new PC experiences this crash more than the old one?
3. how do i prevent further occurrence of filedump 183 crashes?

Same here, but I think it's more about the game after the latest Commander Revamp or new Commander patch than my new laptop to be honest.
Of course I'm not saying that it's absolutely right, I just don't see the reason why my new laptop would be the problem but it could be, I cannot be 100% sure.

I made a mini guide about this. The most important thing is to restart CoH2 frequently. But I have heard there are other helpful things you can do such as deleting the movie that plays in the background of the main menu.
About the cause, I dont think anyone confirmed the exact cause of this, but rumors say that memory leaks and sudden CPU or RAM 100% freezes caused by CoH2 being played too long without restarting can cause this
